Mia's POV:

I was sitting beside Nat on one of the two the co-pilot seats, she got up and went towards Clint. Thor and Steve. He was putting an IV in his arm. Nat then went towards Bruce who was listening to some opera music that helped him to calm down after a code green. Thor was looking at Loki's sceptre.

'Hey the lullaby worked better than ever.' Nat said. I kept my eyes on the controls but listening in on their conversation as well.

'Just wasn't expecting a code green.' Bruce said. Usually, during missions, he stays in the jet and we only call him for emergencies.

'If you hadn't been there, there would've been double the casualties. My best friend would've been a treasured memory.' Nat said and I nodded to myself, frowning at the 'best friend' part.

Is she really friend zoning him?  I thought to myself.

'You know, sometimes exactly what I wanna hear, isn't exactly what I wanna hear.' Bruce said and I smirked.

'How long before you trust me?'

If you keep friend zoning him then never. Just do it girl.

'It's not you I don't trust.' Bruce said, sadness lacing his voice.

'Thor, report on the Hulk.' Nat said, trying to get Thor to say something that will make him trust her.

'The gates of Hell are filled with the screams of his victims.' Thor said. It took everything in me not to laugh. I heard Bruce sighing in defeat.

'Eh, but not the screams of the dead of course, wounded screams, mainly whimpering a great deal of complaining and tales of sprained deltoids and ... gout.' Thor said, trying to redeem himself

'Hey, Banner, Dr. Cho is on her way from Seoul is it okay if she sets up in your lab?' Tony asked, breaking his silence. I was thinking that something was up, especially with the conversation going on, he would usually put in a snarky comment.

'Yeah, she knows her way around.' Bruce said. I got up from my seat and went up to Tony. I patted his shoulder and he turned to see me.

'Hey. What's up?' He asked.

'Tony, are you okay?' I asked, sitting on the free chair beside him. I spoke in a small voice so no one would hear.

'No. Why would you think that?' he asked way to quickly.

'You've been on edge ever since you came from the base. The others might not notice it but I do.' I said, placing a hand on the back of his seat..

'I'm fine. I don't know what you're talking about.' He said.

'Tony-' I was about to say but he interrupted me.

'I'm fine!' He said.

'JARVIS, take the wheel.' He said and his chair was moving behind. I just sighed and went to my seat. I knew JARVIS was flying the plane so I got my phone, put my headphones in and started to listen to music.

Tony's POV:

Ever since I saw the vision in the base. I've been on edge. I was hiding it pretty well but then Mia came to me and popped my balloons.

'I'm fine.' I said and told JARVIS to fly the jet.

'Feels good yeah? I mean, you've been after this thing since S.H.I.E.L.D collapsed. Not that I've not enjoyed our little raiding parties but...' I said to Thor.

'No, but this, this brings it to a close.' Thor said.

'As soon as we find out what else this has been used for. Since when is Strucker capable of human enhancement?' Steve said.
