Tessa lets out a scream once witnessing the scene unfold right beside her. Watching Abraham, her second brother, get hit with the bat but continue to sit up straight is just the breaking point for her. She can feel her body trembling and can taste the tears rolling down her face into her mouth. Tessa try's to reach out wanting to use her body as a shield to protect Abraham but is held back by Michonne. "Oh look at that, taking it like a champ!" All Tessa wants to do is take that stupid sinister smile off Negan's face. "Suck my nuts," says Abraham which is followed by a second blow of the baseball bat.
Tessa hears hit after hit. "Did you hear that? He said suck my nuts". At this point, everything is too much for Tessa. She looks towards Rick who is in the same state of shock. She can't bring her eyes to look to the ground where her best friend remains. Bring her hands to her face and then her arm, she pinches herself hoping to wake up from this horrible nightmare. "Oh my goodness, look at this. You guys look at my dirty girl!" Negan says as he swings his bloody bat causing blood to land on Tessa's face.
Negan makes his way over to Rosita. "Sweetheart, lay your eyes on this. Oh, damn were you, were you together? After seeing them being all lovely Dovey, I thought it was him and Rick's hot sister who were together, I was getting a bit jealous! Oh well, that sucks. But if you were you should know, there was a reason for all this. Red, hell red is, was, and will forever be red, he just took one, or six, or seven for the team! So take a damn look. In a blink of an eye, Darly stands up and successfully lands a punch to Negan. He is soon tackled to the ground. "No! Oh no! That, oh my! That is a no-no. The whole thing, not one bit of that shit fly's here". The man who killed Denise steps forward holding Daryl at gunpoint. "You want me to do it? Right here?"
Grabbing a hold of Daryl's hair, Negan says, "No, you don't kill that, not until you try a little". Tessa knew once again there were going to be consequences.
