"This is Berk. A cold and uncaring land with the rules of survival of the fittest set in stone. My village has been on this land for over seven generations, surviving its terrors with our sheer determination and unparalleled stubbornness. We fish, we hunt, we build and often rebuild, we farm, and we fight. Fighting has been in our culture ever since our enemies had arrived. Remember how I said the rules of survival of the fittest were set in stone? Well, our enemies made sure that was an undeniable fact. Who are our enemies, you may ask? Well, most places have mice or mosquitoes. We have..."

A girl ducked as a dragon flew above her, spewing flames from all around. She stood up and turned to see the dragon flying through the village along with other dragons that were terrorizing different parts of it.

~

"Dragons! Could you believe it!? Majestic and wondrous from afar, but up close, dangerously deadly in every way, shape or form. Most people would have left, but not us, not by a long shot. We're Vikings, and like I said, we're too determined and too stubborn for our own good."

~

"Astrea!" A young voice shouts and she spots two children hiding by a house.

The girl, Astrea, runs towards the children, avoiding any dragons, fire or Vikings fighting off the dragons.

"All right, come along now, it's not safe out here." Astrea says calmly, letting the two kids hold onto her hands.

They all ran away from the house as a dragon crashed into it. Astrea led the children out of the village and towards a cave that was close to the village, but at a safe enough distance for people to take refuge in.

It was a cave hidden behind the trees and Astrea had put a large piece of cloth that was covered in dirt and leaves over the front of the entrance to camouflage it even more.

They arrived at the cave and Astrea led them inside, joining all the other children, elders and women that weren't trained to fight. The two children spotted some of their friends and quickly ran over to them as Astrea smiled.

"Are you going back out there, child?" An elder asked.

Astrea nodded "There may be others that need help, and even if there wasn't, I have to save as much of the livestock as I can."

"You're too kind for your own good, child. Better to stay here and wait for the fighting to stop." The elder said.

"I'm sorry, but I can't do that. I may not be able to fight like the others, but I have to do the best I can at the very least." Astrea said, turning to leave.

"Be careful, child." The elder said and Astrea nodded.

She ran out of the cave and back towards the village, heading for the farm areas to help the animals.

~

"My name is Astrea Dragonborn. Now, you may be wondering, "Dragonborn?" Yes, I know. It's a long story. I never knew my parents, always been an orphan my whole life. It wasn't so bad, my lack of the typical Viking prowess forced me to adapt and I would always help in other ways, even if it was the bare minimum."

~

Astrea Dragonborn was a beautiful young woman with a curvy and voluptuous figure, olive skin, dark blue eyes and long, flowing, white hair. She wore a blue wavy dress with a golden waist buckle, golden necklace, golden bracelets on each hand and lace up heels.
