In an area of the infinite fortress, The water hashira stood afraid for the first time. He has never been this afraid as before, his hand tremble, as there were corpses and a woman who had long smooth black hair tied to a high ponytail ending in a crimson color. 

Her dark crimson kimono covering her red and black kimono, and her katana attached to the left side of her waist. But the most intimidating thing was her aura and her eyes, her eyes were black with her rank number glowing red, as well as her  demon crest mark that surrounded her eyes. She stood there staring at Tomioka Giyuu, with the intent to kill him.

"Tell me, your name... Water hashira." She spoke 

Giyuu felt his hands tremble but calmed down "Tomioka Giyuu." 

"Your mental strength isn't bad, but it is expected of a hashira." Was her only response. She still had the intent of killing Giyuu brutally. 

"I presume you are the cause of all the genocide of water users." Giyuu said, trying to remain calm, but was difficult, her aura, her presence alone was horrifying.  "So tell me, why did you do it, Uppermoon 1? Or should I refer to you as, Kojina Arata?"

Kojina, one of the families in the demon slayer that utilized breath of water, they are descendants of a shogun who learnt the presence of the demons and had been assisted Yoriichi in the fight against demons, utilizing in breath of water. Arata being the last of the bloodline because of her massacring her family, and to ensure this, she massacred thousands of breath of water users.  And we all know why she massacred them.

Suddenly, it felt as if the room temperature dropped, Giyuu's hands began to tremble once more, he looked back to see Arata, she looked enraged. 

"Do not, ever, speak of my family's name!" She yelled as she was suddenly in front of Giyuu with her hand to his throat, she lifts him up and he sees her clearly enraged. And out of pure instinct, he attempted to reach  for his blade only for him to be tossed aside before he could even touch the handle of his katana. 

He lands on his feat and draws out his blade, "Breath of water, First Form: Water Surface Slash" The water hashira generates enough momentum to create a powerful single concentrated slash. But unfortunately he missed, the man just got side stepped by the uppermoon. He grits his teeth but remains calm.

He goes for another attack yet again, jumping up high into the air and coming down "Breath of water, Eighth Form: Waterfall Basin!" The user cuts the target vertically in a flowing motion which is most effective when they are falling downward. He misses and he hears a voice behind him. 

"You water hashiras are almost all the same." Arata said "But please, do enlighten me." 

Giyuu wasted no time "Breath of water, Second Form: Water Wheel" He swings horizontally while releasing a a flowing attack in a circular motion. Arata jumps back, avoiding the attack when she lands she sees him moving in for another attack. 

"I should draw out my blade, as not to be rude." She grips her handle "Breath of blood, First Form: Dark Red Palace" Arata makes a quick dash and a slash, faster than a blink of an eye.

Giyuu barely parries the attack with his blade but not without injury, a wound appears on his abdomen, not a big nor a deep wound luckily. But he does not have enough time to rest, he takes a good look onto her blade, he sees the hilt is covered in red veins and it flows onto the rest of her blade. 

He dashes  backwards whilst panting, 'Breath of blood? I have  never heard of such a breath! Unless, no doubt, she made it herself.' The water pillar thought to himself 'No wonder why Tanjiro chose her.' 

"Breath of water, Fourth form: Striking Tide" he user makes multiple consecutive slashes while twisting their body and sword in a flowing fashion to deliver multiple blows simultaneously. But as he moved forward he failed to notice Arata's blade.
