The next day they all had professor sprout for their first lesson. In the green houses the students stood along a large table with a plant in front of them. Professor sprout walks in greeting everyone with a good morning however no one heard so she taps a pot on the end of the desk getting everyone's attention. Once again saying good morning.

"good morning professor sprout!" everyone greeted back, all in sync.

sprout "welcome to green house 3,second year. Now gather round everybody. Today were going to re pot mandrates,who here can tell me the properties of the mandrate?

Hermione, delta and lynx all raise their hand up.

sprout "go on miss Lovegood"

lynx "mandrate or mandragora is used to return those who have been petrified to their original state"

delta "its also quite dangerous"

Taylor "of course it is, why cant anything just be sunshine and cookies"

mia "do you mean rainbows?"

Taylor "no, cookies"

Hermione "yes it is dangerous, the mandrate cry is fatal to those who hear it"

sprout " excellent 20 points to Gryffindor and a 10 to Ravenclaw, now as our mandrate are still only seedlings their cries wont kill you yet, but they could knock you out for several hours. Which is why I have given you all earmuffs for auditory protection, so can you please put them on right away" everyone begins putting the earmuffs on.

sprout " quickly, flaps down and watch me closely" she begins to hold the mandrate. "you grasp your mandrate firmly you pull it sharply out of the pot" she does as she went and pulls the mandrate out it began squealing and crying.

delta held her earmuffs tightly it seemed she could hear the squeals much more louder than she anticipated.

sprout "and now dump it down into the other pot and pour a little bit of soil around"

as she's doing this it seemed Neville was feeling a little light headed and fell to the ground.

delta "aw shit baby groot just thanos'd Neville"

mia "hehe I got that reference"

sprout "ah Longbottom's been neglecting his earmuffs"

Seamus Finnigan "no mam he's just fainted."

sprout "yes well just leave him there"

Taylor "neglect."

sprout "right. On we go, plenty of pots to go around. Grasp your mandrate and pull it firmly up"

as everyone began pulling there mandrate out delta couldn't take it the crys from the mandrate seemed to be too loud, giving her a pounding headache.

delta" II cant." delta then walks off out the class. professor sprout watched as she left but seemed to not say or do anything.

as everyone else was pulling there mandrate out Taylor began talking to mia and lynx joining in.

Taylor "what's up with delta?"

mia "don't know I just heard her say that she cant then left"

lynx "hmm? she seemed distressed?"

mia " we have lunch after I'll ask her then and see if she's okay"

the class went by smoothly after that and it was now time for lunch.outside the great hall.

as delta is about to walk into the hall the others quickly run over to her.
