the following day mia,taylor,lynx have tagged along with delta, harry, Hermoine and Ron down in the courtyard, as harry wanted to talk to them all about the chamber of secrets and to tell them what he had found out that night when he snuck out the library. "it was Hagrid. Hagrid opened the chamber of secrets 50 years ago!" Harry spat out as the others looked at him like he was crazy. "There's no way Hagrid would open the chamber of secrets! right??" Taylor said worriedly looking to mia and the others for reassurance. "it cant be Hagrid, it just...cant be" Hermoine added. " exactly there's no way, besides how the hell do you think its Hagrid who did?!" Delta exclaimed looking at harry with a questioning look. "look I snuck out last night to the library to look up tom riddle and I don't know how to explain it but its like I was in the past" Harry spoke hurriedly" we don't even know this tom riddle. He sounds like a dirty, rotten snitch." Ron chimed in. "Look, Hagrid's our friend. So whatever you seen or heard there has to be more to it then!" Delta let out. "yeah so why don't we go down and ask him?" Lynx suggested. "that'll be a cheerful visit" Ron mumbled." Hello Hagrid. tell us, have you been setting anything mad and hairy loose in the castle-" Ron joked. " uh Ron, shut up" mia muttered giving him a little shove " what?!"

"mad and hairy?" a familiar voice said from behind Ron as he slowly turned to face the person behind him, Hagrid. " you wouldn't be talking about me would you?" all of them panicked" no! " speaking in sync with one another. As an awkward silence spread between Hagrid and the students. " wh-whats that you've got Hagrid?" Taylor asks trying to break the silence. " oh, its er, flesh-eating slug repellent for the mandrakes" He replies back lifting up the watering can of slug repellent." Now according to professor sprout, they've still got a bit of growing up to do, but once their acne's cleared up, we'll be able to chop 'em up" he adds. " chop them up?! as in kill them!" Taylor exclaims. " yeah, well we need to, we stew 'em up and then we'll get those people unpetrified down at the hospital wing"

" in the meantime however you lot be careful, alright?" everyone nods as Hagrid smiles then begins to head off, as he does Neville hurriedly runs passed him "hello Neville" Hagrid greets as he continues to walk off, Neville runs straight up to everyone panting out of breath. " guys!, I don't know who did it but you better come" everyone looks at each other confused as Neville then runs off " come on!" he shouts as the others run chasing after him. Everyone follows Neville along to the Gryffindor common room as they rush up to harry and rons dormitory. as they walk in the place looks to be trashed, books laying everywhere pages ripped out and all over the floor, the room was a mess, everyone stood in with a face of shock at the sight. " who the hell did this?" delta exclaimed. " it had to of been a Gryffindor nobody else knows the password but these three" Hermoine added. Taylor, lynx and mia just look at Hermoine like she just insulted them " I never told nobody the password." mia swears as she holds her hands up defensively. " me neither" Taylor added lynx just shakes her head " unless it wasn't a student?..." Hermoine implies. delta looks at her with a raised eyebrow " and what are you implying?"

" well whoever it was they must've been looking for something" Ron blurts out as he looks to harry who's making sure Hedwig is alright." no shit sherlock well-done for pointing out the obvious" mia says sarcastically rolling her eyes. " well they found it" harry adds onto rons statement. " found what? "Lynx asks. " tom riddles diary is gone." harry continues as he looks up at everyone. " who's tom riddle? did we get told bout him?" Taylor whispers to mia. " no clue" she whispers back. as delta glances at mia, she seems to have realised something but she's not entirely sure what it means or if its actually connected at all.

" right well we don't have the time right now to go looking for it harry, we have quidditch practice shortly" delta tells harry as she ushes him to follow her out and head to practice." oo I forgot there's a match on today its us versus you guys" Taylor says excitedly, "we'll go to there's a few thing I've got to get done" lynx adds as she leaves two shortly followed by the others.

moments later with harry and delta:

"alright everyone listen up, we play our game, Hufflepuff doesn't stand a chance." Oliver announces to everyone in the team " were stronger, quicker and smarter" he continues as he begins to walk to the exit of the tent," and not to mention they're scared harry will petrify them if they get anywhere near him!" Fred jokes delta laughs" everyone still thinking that HA!" delta snorts." that too" Oliver adds to Fred's joke. as they exit the tent heading into the stadium professor McGonagall walks out. " professor McGonagall" Oliver greets. " This match has been cancelled" McGonagall exclaims. " you cant cancel quidditch" Oliver says in disappointment. " silence wood, you and your teammates will go to Gryffindor tower. now" McGonagall tells them more so demands. " what no but why?!" delta whines " please Minerva" McGonagall quickly shoots delta a glare " its professor McGonagall, miss snape and yes no arguments its cancelled!" delta kicks the grass in annoyance. " don't do that, now you need to come with me miss snape and you too potter, we will find Mr Weasley and the girls, theirs something you all have to see." harry looks at delta confused and worried as McGonagall demanding tone changed to a more sincere and sympathetic tone. They follow professor McGonagall on the hunt for Ron and the girls once they got everyone they all followed the professor towards the infirmary. everyone was muttering and mumbling to each other confused as to what the professor wanted them to see as they walked into the infirmary and McGonagall stopped at a bed looking down as=t who was laying there then back at the students everyone's face dropped as they seen Hermoine laying there on the hospital bed, she had been petrified." she was found near the library... along with this" McGonagall said in a low and empathetic tone, as she picked up a small hand held mirror " what but I was in the library I didn't see anything?!" Lynx questions to herself. " does this mean anything to you?" McGonagall asks indicating to the mirror in her hand. everyone shakes they're head. they all stood there in silence looking down at Hermoine. " you fucking jinxed it, now one of us is petrafied" delta mutters towards lynx as mia elbows her in the side." ow" delta groans " not the right time delta" mia mumbles.

so sorry for the long and silent wait for a chapter I've not really had any motivation to write and nor had the attention span when I did. I've got the whole book written up now however I now just need to do a few wee tweaks and checks before I think of publishing anymore, and once again sorry for any wait.
