Chapter 5

Months pass and just like the twins promise that they'll write to Jin Ling and often visits him.

The three of them became best friends and no one can separate them.

Then 5 years later and the twins are 10 and Jin Ling is 11.

The twins are still cheerful and a little mischievous but kind and they can also be serious if needed to...

Whenever the twins go to Lanling they would hear bad things about Wei Wuxian...their Baba, the twins and their older brothers knows everything since Lan Wangji had recently told them all about the story of their Baba Wei Wuxian.

But just like the twins whenever they heard bad things they would just ignore it because they knew it wasn't true...but sometimes Lan Xiuying would be overwhelmed upon hearing the fake gossips and rumors about her Baba she would cry into Lan Wangji or one of her older brother's arms.

Her three brothers would always protect her from anything since she's the youngest and the only girl.

Now...back to the topic when 5 years pass.

The twins were currently visiting Lanling again to visit their best friend Jin Ling and Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi were aldo with them to keep in check and to always protect them.

Lan Sizhui is now 15 years old while Lan Jingyi is 13.

Lan Sizhui grew up to be just like Lan Wangji...a perfect and discipline Lan disciple but he brings a smile always just like his Uncle Xichen and Baba.

Meanwhile Lan Jingyi was still mischievous and the most un-lan of all Lan disciples but Lan Wangji still love him as his adopted son.

"Jin Ling where are we going?" Lan Xiuying ask as she bounce while walking.

"We're going to town to buy some things, Yao-Jiujiu suggested it" Jin Ling replied as he turn his head a little to the side and enough for him to see the oldest Lan...Lan Sizhui.

Jin Ling then turn back his head and continued to focus on walking and not bumping into anyone...but he can't stop glancing at Lan Sizhui and when Lan Sizhui caught him looking at him, Jin Ling would turn away and blush.

"Jin Ling are you okay?" Lan Tianyu ask.

"I-I'm fine just a little hot" Jin Ling stuttered.

"Oh! Look at that Feng-Ge! A bunny candy!" Lan Xiuying exclaim and skip towards the stall she saw while Lan Tianyu and Jin Ling just followed her.

"Hey Da-Ge...I noticed Young Mistress Jin keeps glancing at you." Lan Jingyi whispered and Lan Sizhui just shrugged.

"It's probably nothing A-Yi" Lan Sizhui replied and smiled.

"And stop calling him that or else Young Master Jin will get mad at you again" Lan Sizhui said and Lan Jingyi just shrugged ignoring what his older brother just said.

"How was your day yesterday?" Lan Wangji ask when the four walk inside Jingshi.

"A-Die I miss you!" Lan Xiuying exclaim as she hug Lan Wangji who patted her head.

"We were in town yesterday with Jin Ling and we also trained with our swords and skills in bows and arrows" Lan Tianyu said as he also hug Lan Wangji and Lan Wangji also patted his head with his other hand.

"How was your day yesterday A-Yuan, A-Yi?" Lan Wangji ask

"Yeah it was okay...but Young Mistress Jin kept looking at Da-Ge!" Lan Jingyi said as he hug Lan Sizhui.
