Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian had set their journey again to find the hand's other limps and owner.
During their journey they had encounter a secret spy that was wearing a black veil covering half his faces.
They tried to fight it but it got away before the two can unveil him.
By now the two were now in Yi City as they heard it had some problems with ghost...and stuff?.
As they were walking inside they heard a bamboo poll hitting the ground louder and louder and footsteps running around them as Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian looked around while also running with Lan Wangji on the roof to find the culprit.
Then Wei Wuxian encountered the juniors.
Wei Wuxian was shock to say the least to see his children and Jin Ling along with some other disciples and an heir from Ouyang Clan.
"Ba- Hmmmp!" Lan Jingyi's mouth was shut close as he was about to call Wei Wuxian Baba.
Lan Tianyu had used the silencing spell on him.
"...A-Feng stop it!." Wei Wuxian said sternly and Lan Tianyu only sigh and released Lan Jingyi.
"Now...what are you all doing here? Especially you four." Wei Wuxian ask seriously and worried.
"Well...Uncle Huan said that we needed to investigate something...we said yes of course and we went to investigate on a town nearby here then they told us that, they have some problems in this city." Lan Xiuying explained.
"We got lost in this thick fog somehow...and we heard a bamboo poll hitting the ground with quick footsteps following..." Lan Sizhui said.
"Well as all of you are safe then it's fine.." Wei Wuxian said.
Then noises of a fierce corpses was heard coming in their direction.
All of them got their sword unsheathed and pointed it.
Wei Wuxian manage to kill two of the corpses and it released a poisonous gas in the air.
Some of the juniors breath in it before Wei Wuxian warned them not to.
"All of you! Follow me!" Wei Wuxian shouted and run to a different direction.
When they notice the fierce corpses was far, Wei Wuxian looked at the juniors.
"All of you. Show me your mouth." Wei Wuxian said and the juniors open their mouth for Wei Wuxian to inspect.
Sure enough, almost all of them consume the poisonous gas.
The once that wasn't poison was, Lan Tianyu and Ouyang Zizhen along some other Lan disciples.
Lan Sizhui, Lan Jingyi and Lan Xiuying along with Jin Ling was poison.
"To those who didn't have poison in them. Please carry the ones who was poisoned..." Wei Wuxian said and they gave him confuse looks.
"If you move too much. The poison will quickly travel through your body and easily kill you in an instant." Wei Wuxian said and they all nodded understanding Wei Wuxian as the ones that wasn't affected by the poison carried the others.
Lan Tianyu carried Lan Xiuying bridal style.

"They're in Yi City?" Jiang Wanyin ask.
"Yes. Xichen-Ge sent them there and with the help of my spies. Don't worry they'll be okay." Nie Huaisang replied taking a drink of water from his cup.
"You do know that Xue Yang is there right? How can they possibly be okay?!" Jiang Wanyin exclaim worriedly.
