Chapter 2

It has been a week since the twin jades of Gusu brought Wen Yuan or now his last name Lan Yuan...to Cloud Recesses and let him resides in Jingshi and he has a forehead ribbon on his forehead claiming that he was now a Lan.

When Lan Yuan first woke up that was three days ago...he can't remember anything or anyone he only remember a red ribbon that Lan Wangji was holding everyday.

Lan Wangji at least got his love's red ribbon and Yunmeng Clarity bell...and most of all his love's adoptive son..which he adopt and treated as if Lan Yuan is his own.

"A-Die why do you always have that red ribbon?" Lan Yuan ask as he sat in Lan Wangji's lap.

The two of them were in Jingshi.

Lan Wangji smiled sadly at him...yes Lan Wangji shows his emotions towards his older brother and now adopted son.

"This...belong to someone special to me" Lan Wangji said as he held Lan Yuan's hand with his other hand that wasn't holding the red ribbon.

"Someone special to you? Like me?" Lan Yuan ask and smiled.

"Yes like you" Lan Wangji replied.

"Who's the person A-Die!?" Lan Yuan exclaim as he keeps tugging on Lan Wangji's robes.

"He was my soulmate and my love" Lan Wangji replied as tears began to form in his eyes.

"So he's my Baba?" Lan Yuan sudden said which surprised Lan Wangji but smiled at the child as his tears fell one by one.

"Yes he is" Lan Wangji said and Lan Yuan quickly got up.

"A-Die! Why are you crying?" Lan Yuan ask as he wipe his sleeves on Lan Wangji's falling tears and Lan Wangji just smiled at him as he suddenly pulled Lan Yuan close to him and kissed his forehead.

"I love you my dear son" Lan Wangji said and Lan Yuan hug him and smiled.

"I love you too A-Die!" Lan Yuan exclaim.

Outside the room Lan Xichen would be seen tears slowly falling from his eyes when he heard the conversation between his brother and adopted nephew.

He was also devastated for his brother...he promised that he'll never make his younger brother shed a tear and yet...his younger brother Lan Wangji was crying almost everyday.

Lan Xichen was happy that his nephew can make his younger brother stay alive.

Months already passed and Lan Wangji was almost due on giving birth and so much has also happened.

He was looking at Lan Yuan playing with Lan Jingyi outside...Lan Xichen was beside him.

Over this past few months Lan Xichen was always in Lan Wangji's side... except when the sect needed him that he needs to leave.

Lan Qiren already knows about the pregnancy...he was furious about it but he couldn't do anything about it because of Lan Xichen.

Lan Wangji also gave Lan Yuan his courtesy name which is Sizhui means Longing.

"Wangji are you okay? You seem pale..." Lan Xichen said as he noticed his younger brother white as snow.

Lan Wangji stared at his brother for a while until he felt an immerse pain in his abdomen.

"Ugh...Gege it hurts" Lan Wangji said as he felt like he peed himself.

Lan Xichen gasp as he realized what's happening.
