"You are all I need" { Karlnapity }

Chapter 5

Quackity sat up a few hours later and looked around. The TV was playing some show that he Didn't know, Karl and Sapnap weren't in the living room and it was dark outside.

He got up and quietly walked to the kitchen in case Sapnap or Karl where sleeping.

He grabbed a glass and filled it with water and drank it in seconds. He then grabbed a bag of chips and walked back into the living to find Sapnap sitting on the couch.

" Hey?" Quackity said, it was almost 3am, why is Sapnap up?

" Oh hey," Sapnap smiled at him.

Quackity went and sat down next to him. " Why are you up?"  Quackity opened the chips and grabbed a few.

He shrugged, " Me and Karl were cuddling and watching movies but then he fell asleep about an hour ago."

Quackity nodded and turned to the TV.

The show ended and Sapnap turned off the TV. Quackity looked at him confused, " Karl told me you had a nightmare, he doesn't believe it was about clowns or whatever so don't tell me that that's what it was about," Sapnap didn't look at him, he just stared at the black TV.

Quackity sighed, of course Karl told Sapnap, " I'm fine it was just a nightmare, ok?"

Sapnap sighed, " Fine, lie all you want."

Sapnap went to turn back on the TV when he saw Quackitys face.

Quackity was glaring at Sapnap and looking like he was trying not to cry, his hands were balled into fists in his lap.

" Y...you know I have my reasons for lying right?" Quackity whispered. His hands started shaking from keeping his feelings in. He hated that Karl and Sapnap wouldn't just drop it.

Sapnap stared at him, a little shocked at the reaction, " I...I um-"

Quackitys sobs cut him off. Quackity didn't even know why he was crying, he hated crying in front of people, it made him feel vulnerable and weak. He covered his face, not wanting Sapnap to see him like this.

" Hey, hey," Sapnap said pulling Quackity into a hug, letting Quackity sob into his shoulder.

Around 10 minutes later Quackity stopped crying but stayed in Sapnaps arms.

Sapnap rubbed Quackitys back, " Are you ok now?"

" Yeah, sorry," Quackity sat up and scooted away from him.

" Don't apologize, you did nothing wrong," Sapnap said, moving around on the couch to face Quackity better.

Quackity nodded even though he still felt shitty for breaking down like that. " I'm just upset that even after I told you something that you knew was a lie you wouldn't just leave it alone!" Quackitys voice had risen slightly and he was worried that Karl would wake up and he'd have to explain himself again.

Sapnap looked down, " Oh yeah, I'm sorry. I don't think we realized how that would make you feel. Are you gonna tell Karl about this or should I?"

" I will," Quackity said, yawning.

" Are you tired?" Sapnap asked.

Quackity rolled his eyes, " No I'm yawning because I'm wide awake,"

Sapnap laughed a little and then stood up, " Come on, let's go to bed," Quackity nodded and followed Sapnap up stairs. He went to his room, said goodnight to Sapnap, and then shut his door, quietly.

He changed into a pair of sweatpants and t-shirt and took of his beanie and set it on his nightstand.

He crawled into bed and sighed at the comfiness of his mattress.

He rolled to face the wall and closed his eyes, falling asleep immediately.
