After briefing everyone on what went down, most of it anyway, leaving some parts out it. You and Emily sneaked around the mansion and headed to the bar. Emily stood behind the bar fixing the both of you a drink

"He said that?" Emily scoffed, not taking it easy on the tequila, "No offence, but he's an asshole."

"None taken." You sighed, taking the finished drink off Emily, "Can we not talk about it, I've made the mistake of engaging with him, I don't need to think about that anymore."

"It's okay, what do you want to talk about?" Emily asked, leaning down on the counter.

"How are you and JJ?" You smirked a bit.

"It's rocky, you know." She took a large swig of her drink, "We are both such workaholics, that we hardly get time to see each other anymore. She's always grilling who's going to be a problem, and I'm always here."

"I'm sorry." You sighed.

"It's not your fault, I just really want to see her more, it would be a lot better if I could. But she's not ready to move as fast as I am."

"Maybe she's just worried, because she's ready, but scared." You tried to consolidate Emily on her relationship, but the only long-term relationship that you've had was Aaron who was on board with everything that you wanted to do. Maybe he was a bit too eager to follow along, or even take charge.

"Maybe. I just want to move in with her, because then at least I'll see her more." Emily sighed, pouring herself another glass, but this time of her wine.

"You are always welcome to move in here, we've got rooms galore that we'll not be using." You laughed

"Talking about relationships... Do you know if Hotch wants kids?" Emily asked nervously.

"It's the one thing I'm too nervous to bring up." You chuckled awkwardly, "I don't know if I want them to live this life, one where they are going to be targets for people like my brother, or them to become me."

"Ah, maybe bring it up once your brother has gone away." She smiled gently walking around the bar to sit next to you.

You rested your head on her shoulder, "Everything is going to work out A-Okay." You nervously said.

"Say it like you believe it, darling." Emily chuckled.

"I do." You said defensively, Emily looked at you with her brows raised, "Okay, I don't but I can hope right."

"You certainly can." She chuckled

"I think I should head up; it's been a long day." You sighed tapping Emily's shoulder, "Don't drink too much of that, you may be needed tomorrow."

"It's no fun drinking alone anyway." Emily sighed, "Thanks again for the offer."

"It's no problem." You smiled walking away from the bar.

"Please, Riley, stop." You beg at your brother in his bedroom.

"You came in here, suffer the punishment." He laughed mercilessly, putting something away in his draws.

"I only came in here looking for you." You sighed on the chair that he pushed you down on.

"And you came at the wrong time. You are nothing but my little useless sister. Who has no business in this family. You aren't a y/l/n's you are nothing. Not even worthy of the name." He chuckled looking at you.
