Warnings: Hospitals, and small description of injuries

Derek got to the hospital as fast as he could, parked up so that Emily and Hotch could get you out of the car and straight into the ER. Hotch supports you by putting one of your arms over his shoulder and one of his hands gripping your waist.

"We need help." Hotch shouted calmly, but everyone seemed to be too busy, he scattered his eyes around looking at the different scrubs, all attending to people who didn't need it as much as you did, so again, "We need help!" He shouted louder.

It seemed to get someone's attention, a woman came over, "What happened?" She asked.

"Just help her please." Aaron begged.

"Okay, okay." The woman stressed, "I need a gurney." She shouted around the ER. Aaron didn't know who because he was too busy making sure that you were alright.

Seconds later a gurney came along, and Aaron put you on it, "Take her to trauma room 1." She ordered pushing you into the room, but before Aaron could follow she put her hand up to his chest, "Sorry you can't come in."

"Please, I promised that I'll never leave her." He begged looking into the room where people were already working on you.

"Sorry sir." She responded, going into the room.

He watched from the window, watched as they worked on her, and put a breathing tube in her mouth. Watched as they performed many exams on her. He waited for any news but not wanting to move from his spot.

Aaron watched as they all decided on what to do. They all nodded and pushed the gurney with you in it out of the other door, while the previous doctor stepped back out.

"Sir, what happened?" She asked with more determination.

"Is she alright?" Aaron asked looking down to her, she was smaller than Aaron by a lot, "Please tell me." He ushered.

"We'll do our best, but we need to know what happened, otherwise I'll have to call the police. These bruises, cuts and breaks didn't come from any regular accident." She explained, furrowing her brows.

"She- she was mugged, but she refused, she's headstrong like that. But the attacker did like that so they did that." Hotch lied.

The doctor seemed to believe it, "Do you want me to call the police so they can track the attacker."

"Look, just tell me what's going to happen to her?" Hotch stressed.

"She's going to be taken for some test then she's going to be taken up to the OR." The doctor explained, "Do you need to call anyone?" She asked.

"No, it's okay, just make sure she's alright." Hotch spoke, rubbing the pads of his fingers together.

"Someone will come and find you when she's out of the ICU." She softly smiled and walked back into the trauma room and disappeared.

Hotch couldn't move from where he was standing, his suit was creased, your blood had slightly covered his shirt sleeves, which were doing their best in covering Aaron's wrapped knuckles. He felt like time itself had frozen. Hoping that the doctor believed him so that she wouldn't call the police, but he couldn't think of that right now. He could only think of you. Were you going to make it through surgery? Were you going to see another day?

"Hotch." Emily whispered softly, placing a hand on his shoulder, "Hotch." She repeated louder.

Aaron turned to look at her, "Let's sit down." She spoke letting him follow her towards the waiting room, "No use standing they are probably going to be awhile."
