"Wakey wakey." Riley's voice sang in your ear, your eyes fluttered open to meet his, "Ah good, you're alive." He smiled.
You looked around in your surroundings, you were still there. Aaron didn't come and save you. Stuck in the cold, damp basement, legs though have been untied, the state you were in was obviously less of a threat to them.
'Stay strong'
'Kick ass.'
'I'll be waiting for you, Y/N."
Aaron's voice rang through your head, like a melody that you needed.
Your head gave you a splitting headache, almost that you felt as if the room was spinning, from the lack of oxygen. You pushed your eyes closed to try and soothe your brain.
"Ah, ah, ah." Your brother tapped on your cheek, "No dissociating this time, you are going to take what you have coming to you, like a y/l/n." He snarled.
You refused to speak, all you did was spit on him. He stumbled back and washed the spit off his face, "You're disgusting you know that right?" He seethed.
Still not speaking. You turned your head away looking at the concrete wall covered in damp.
How long has it been now?
4 days?
6 days?
4 months?
Time is such a funny concept, especially when trapped.
Is it day?
Is it night?
What does the sun look like?
The moon even?
"No matter where you look, I'm always going to be here." Riley chuckled, grabbing your jaw and pulling you to face him, "I've been following your little boyfriend and his herd of clowns, you'll never guess who they've been to see."
"Who?" Your voice asked hoarsely.
"Well, there are two." Riley chuckled, pulling up a seat to you, your knees almost meeting, "One is Aaron's father-."
"What?" You asked furrowing your brows and meeting Riley's eyes. The stories you heard from Aaron about his father made you want to be sick.
"Yes, the one and only Edward Hotchner, hidden away in his penthouse, shame, such good talent." Riley smiled, crossing his legs. He was around the 6 foot mark so he definitely didn't need to do much to make you feel small. He didn't need to use the mind games on you to make you feel small and weak. Though you've proved to yourself that you are not small or weak, you did it for you and no one else.
"Anyway, I guess he's gone there to find you, so congrats on making your boyfriend go to the place he never wanted to step into again." Riley shrugged, pushing his back further into the chair.
"Who else?" You inquired, still not having your normal voice back.
"His brother, Sean, who by the looks of things didn't want to go back. That's what the visit to Rome was about. Meeting his brother Sean and his family. I know a lot about your 'new family'" Riley spoke with air quotes, "your perfect family, all a part of the criminal life we all know. Now, you don't want this life anymore do you?"
Sealing your lips, you looked away, giving away what the answer was.
"So, you don't... What makes you think that he wants you around when you are no longer a part of this life. What makes you think he needs you?"
