When you woke up, it felt like a year. Your body ached and your head hurt. The room was spinning as your eyes fluttered open. Trying to get a grip on your surroundings you tried to move your arms and legs, but it was no use. The ties on your arm just got tighter as you struggled.
'I know these ties, I know exactly who did this. Shit. God. I'm going to die.'
"No use squirming." A deep voice laughed, it was as clear as day, if you knew what time of the day it was. The accent, everything.
"Riley?" You asked.
"Yes, sweet sister?" He smiled walking up to you, out of the shadows.
"Why?" You groaned.
"Why not?" His hand came up to your chin and supported it, "Well I need the big guy to come and rescue you. You know if he really loves you, he'll save you, and then I can negotiate." Riley laughed.
'Escape, whatever I do, escape.'
You took a breath, and stared at your brother, "Or you could just kill me have the newspapers putting my death on the front page. That'll get his attention." You smiled.
"My friends think you're pretty to look at. A new toy to play with." He smirked, beckoning his friends over.
They were both large, beefy men. Dressed in all black with an unnerving demeanour.
You took a deep breath, and zoned out, you knew what they were going to do would be better if you weren't present.
"Aaron, stop." You laughed squirming on the couch. His hands tickled you, a smile was present.
"What's the magic word?" He smiles towering over you.
It was a year into your relationship, things got serious fast after the 5th date you already spoke of your 'I love yous', already moved into his home and claimed it as your own. Signed your work contract with him. Everything was smooth sailing.
"Please." You begged, laughing, gasping.
"No, not it." He smirked, he knew your body well, knowing the parts of your body that were most vulnerable.
"Please, sir?" You questioned, smiling. Aaron's hands stopped and wrapped his hand around your body and lifted you up onto his lap.
"That's the one, darling." He smiled before pressing his lips onto yours.
You pushed your head onto his shoulder, "I love you." You mumbled, "I don't know what I would do without you."
You heard Aaron say something but you didn't catch it, "What did you say?" You asked, pulling back and looking at him.
"I said, you are a pretty thing aren't you? I can't wait to have my way with you." A hand that wasn't Aaron's caressed your cheek. You immediately tried to back away, but couldn't.
Deep breath in, and out and you were gone again.
It was the holidays, and holidays at home were the best, the criminal underworld, your co-workers all in one room, conversing, drinking, all in their best outfits. You are in a green, sparkly dress with a slit up your leg up to your hip. Matching red earrings, and red eyeshadow, red heels which tapped on the marble floors.
You said your polite 'hellos' 'thank yous' 'Merry Christmas' before making your way to your husband. As soon as he saw you he wrapped an arm around your waist. Pulling you close for a kiss on the cheek.
