Daejavu ; Betrayal Or True Love? - Baetag [Golden Child]

    The beginning

The night was dark. Only streetlight lighted up the city, Seoul. Almost at the heart of the city, in the dark alley, a person was running as if it was his last run.

He was panting. He constantly looked behind him to see if someone was following him. After a while, he stopped. While keeping a look at his surroundings, he dialed a number. Few seconds after, the person at the other hand picked it up.

"H-Hello" The person whispered as his voice was shaking in fear. " I-I think they aren't following me. I'm at *** street.  Hurry pick me up! "

He anxiously heard what the other person replied. Soon his face glowed in hope. He excited told, " Yes come quic- "

Before he could finish,  from a not so far distance, at that very moment, a bullet went through his head, making him spot dead.

The other person wailed, " Hello, Hello! Can you hear me? Hello?? "

"...... Yes. I can hear you." A robotic voice replied from this side. It continued as the owner of the robotic voice smirked, " Don't worry about your friend.  You'll meet him soon, in hell. "

The call ended at that instant. The owner of that robotic voice waited to see if the other person called back or not. But there was no response.

He sighed, " Look at this foolish! He has already gotten caught. Ending the call won't help him. Though it's none of my business. "

He looked at the dead body in front of him. He kept the mobile silently beside that person, exactly where it was before he picked it up. 

He took out his knife and pressed it on the dead body's skin. At that time he got a call on his phone. He picked it up and continued what he was doing.

He answered,  " Agent Leopard, 003 speaking. Yes, the target has already been eliminated. I'm finishing my job. Will go back within 5 minutes. "

Ending the call, he stood up and left the place. On the right hand of the dead body, it was written by him " Viper " . Anyone could recognize the name. It was the name of the largest and scariest secret assassination organization of South Korea.

And the person, Agent Leopard, was none other than a member of the organization. He, who is known as 'Crazy Psycho' can kill 5 people at once. Though this time, it wasn't him who killed the target.

It was an another member who have just reunited with Agent Leopard now. Agent Leopard patted his shoulder as soon as they met, " Good Job 004. You were as cool as you are."

The member, Agent Werewolf, 004, shrugged his shoulder to let go of the hand. He said in a harsh tone, " I didn't ask your feedback about me. "

" That hurts you know ~~ "

" Hey Leopard! Stop fooling around !! "

" I wasn't fooling around though. "

Leopard really didn't fool around. They both worked (of course hard) together to kill the target.

While Agent Leopard fights face to face with the enemies,  Agent Werewolf is the shooter( long ranged). He hids in the rooftop and strikes at crucial points.

So far, none has been able to escape from this dangerous duo, who are often called " Psychos of night. "

Soon after, The duo came back in the main quarter. 

This duo is actually part of a ten member team, Psychos. Psychos is one of the best teams under Viper. They are fully active for only 2 years. Yet they are very good at their jobs.

It is divided into four parts, 'Psychos of Midnight', 'Psychos of Night', 'Psychos of Dawn' and 'Psychos of Dusk'.

There was a person waiting for them. He was a member of Psychos of Midnight, Agent Cheetah, 002, Vice Captain of Psychos. He stood up seeing them. Leopard and Werewolf bowed as he was in higher rank than them.

Cheetah( telling them to raise their heads)  started talking in a cold & calm tone,

" Congrats for your success,  Psychos of Night. As usual, you both have done your job well. I am here to inform you that the next mission for you has already been decided.  You'll get a short time break for seven days. I'll send you infos about next mission. "

" Understood. " Both of them said. Werewolf saw Leopard tightening his grip. He was trying his best to hid his anger. Well, who would not be angry if they hear after working so hard, they only get one week rest?

Cheetah realized about Leopard's anger. To his( leopard) bad, He(cheetah) ignored it and continued, " There's an important thing you need to be informed. This mission is a group mission. So become prepared as you should. Any questions? "

They both nodded their heads telling that they didn't.

Cheetah said, " You may retire now. "

They bowed again and left the room. While walking in the corridor, Leopard left a sigh. " Man! This world and the God is hella cruel to me. "

Werewolf replied, " Why won't he be if you don't learn how to control your expression? "

" Come on! We all wear mask. And our voices are robotic. "

" Cheetah is not so dumb you know. "

" Don't talk about him. Just thinking about him makes my day bad. It wouldn't be so annoying if the next mission wasn't a team mission. Tch! "

All members of Psychos doesn't get along with each other. Especially there are some duos who share worst relationship.  Cheetah and Leopard is one of those duos.

They were coming out from the quarter. Leopard smirked, " Look. Your day won't be good too. "

He said such words because of the arrival of another Psychos' member. He is the member Werewolf hates most.

He saw the duo. He bowed to Leopard but not to Werewolf. He just passed him. Werewolf grabbed his wrist.
" Yay Hayna! Do you not know how to show respect to your seniors? "

The member,  Agent Hayna, 005 didnt say any word. He is a calm person unlike Werewolf who is hot headed.

" I'm sorry. I have urgent work. So please let me go. " He calmly said. He bowed to Wolf and forcefully removed his hand from Werewolf's grip. And went towards the quarter.

" He is the worst guy! How dare he always disrespect me?? " Werewolf couldn't help but expressed himself.

" Well. You get annoyed by each of his actions. " Leopard answered.

Yes, Werewolf gets angry by Hayne everytime. It's because Hayna acts as if he( Warewolf) doesn't exist. They both can't tolerate each other.

Werewolf let out some anger more. Then went on his way. From afar, Hayna saw him until he'sgone out of his sight. He slowly turned back and went towards his destination.

The night grew less dark only to welcome the brand new day.
