I didn't know what I was doing. I was cold,scared, and alone, no one was around for miles. It was the middle of summer, but it felt like winter. The world had turned upside down in two days. No one really knew why, but everyone knew who was to blame: me. I didn't mean to it just... happened.
My brother was hungry, and my parents weren't home. They'd left us deciding we were monsters, not worth looking after. My brother was five, I was thirteen. They left three years ago and we've heard nothing from them since. I remember what it was like to be a family, I wish we could be happy like we were then.
