Woah! What was that? I thought to myself as the ground of the school shook. I'm in the building for one minute and that one minute just has to be when the entire freaking building decides its giving up on life. Great. Just great. I rounded the corner to the office "Oh.My.God."I breathed.
The office-it was just... gone. Up in flames I could hear people inside,"HELP!!" A voice shouted. I could hear coughing loud coughing, the person had to be close by. Great this day was not supposed to go like this. The only person I knew who had this type of power was... my dad.Oh no what has he done this time??!?! I'm not moving again! I can't move again! They'll know what I am no matter where we move.
A/N: The first thing that you're worrying about is moving? Really Halle get a grip here kid smh... Anyways- moving on.
Hold up why am I worrying about this now?! There are people in there! I thought angrily to myself, stop being so full of yourself Halle.
A/N: Thank you for finally understanding what's going on (I say as I write this child hopefully helping them finally understand life). Meanwhile me sitting awake writing this late at night lol whatever :)
I ran towards the front door leading out of the school get a teacher get a teacher now Halle Jackson I told myself. " Help!" I yelled when I go to the track field.
A teacher looked up at me" What in the world is the matter child?" She asked me,she sounded concerned. or as concerned as one should be when a child comes running outside screaming for help I thought.
"The school-office-fire" I breathed desperately trying to make the world stop spinning.
Immediately the teacher was on her feet "show me the way."The teacher ordered me.
And without a look back, I ran hoping the teacher could keep up because there was no way I was slowing down anytime soon. Turns out the teacher was far behind- Maybe I can use some of it I thought to myself no- I can't risk being seen. I looked behind me to see how far behind me the teacher was." Help!" The voice shouted again " Please! We're stuck! There's no way out!"
I felt the color drain from my face- I knew that voice I don't know how I didn't recognize it earlier. "No...Sam," I whispered and I lost control of the power that I tried so hard to hide. It screamed at me to save him so- I let go of the restraint and.... all that I could see was water pouring down on the burning office coming from clouds that hadn't been there five seconds ago. There was so much water- It was like an ocean coming out of the sky.
"What the-" I looked behind me at the voice- the teacher was standing behind me-looking right at me. She knew-she knew I had summoned the water. This is NOT how this day was supposed to go I thought again.
A/N: So yeah welcome to this coas! Your kid Halle has powers yay *slow claps* (totally didn't plan this from the beginning or anything) Shhh you know nothing :) Anyways what did you guys think of this new chapter? I had a lot of fun writing Halle's POV so your gonna see a lot more of them don't worry my children :)
Also heads up, in the next chapter your going to see Sam's POV of what happened so yay:) I promise he's alive.
