My eyes adjust to the light that shines into the room. The first thing that clouded my head was one person. Waylon. I thought of him all night, even in my dream he made an appearance, which was slightly questionable. Though I suppose it was because of my growing anxiety. I didn't know a thing about him. I don't know where he was, if he is okay or if it may be to late already. The thought of Gluskin killing him and ripping him into shreds or maybe even add him into his sickening collection of his so called "Brides" was unbearable. Makes me sick to the core. I was afraid that I'd probably not see him again, though I still want to discover that on my own terms. He is counting on me, I know that. Even if that means dragging his corpse out of this God forsaken Sanitarium, then that is what I shall do. I'd owe that to his Wife...His children. I couldn't and wouldn't leave him here. No. There is no chance.

I jumped out of bed. Thats when I notice, that my clothes weren't hear anymore.  Infact, Eddie changed me even into some Pyjamas, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Well, at least he left my socks on the ground, I thought as I spotted them dangling on the end of the bed. I took them and proceeded to put 'em on. My eyes scan the room for any clothes which I could put on, but with no luck. There weren't even some in the closet. It was completely empty. Very disappointing if you ask me. I approach the door. Carefully I grab the handle and pull it down, peeping into the room. I forgot for a second that bedroom was a luxury to live in, cause the room I was looking into was the complete opposite. Blood everywhere...a few corpses staked over one another creating a huge, rotten and most of all smelly pile. It really made me gag for a moment. It smelled horrible. But to my luck, no Eddie.

I creep around, inspecting every inch of the workshop. Plans of horrific test hung on the wall, blood covers half of it. Uneasy I look into various locker, hoping to find any clue of my friend. Some of them were locked. I had no key, therefore I have no clue what Eddie was hiding in them. My thought got soon answered tho. Someone or something began to bang violently against the metal door. I sprang back in fear and held my hand against my chest. Horrified I watch the Locker in front of me shake. A man screams from the inside, beginng for someone to hear him. I step a little closer.

"Hello?"

He suddenly stopped. I saw his glowing eyes glancing right back at me.

"Am I dreaming?" He questioned himself loud enough for me to hear.

"I guess not, this is unfortunately real."

He gasped before pressing himself against the door that separated us.

"You need to help me!" His voice was on the edge of breaking. You could clearly hear his lips tremble and tears escaping his eyes. I wasn't sure if I should help him though, the likes of him tried to kill me or worse. They hunted me down all day, so why should I release him. He could try the same. This isn't a risk that I want to take. Just as I was about to turn around, he spoke up again. "You can't leave me here! Do you know what this man does to us?! I'll be dead, if you don't help me now!"

He was right. I knew exactly what Eddie does in these horrific rooms. The screams of the past victims of the Groom could be heard echoing through this halls, as if their spirits still roams around this god forsaken Asylum. My eyes scan the other locker. Most of them are empty by now, only a few of them are still closed. I couldn't leave him, I'd never forgive myself if I'd let him stay here to die. He could also be helpful on finding Waylon. Maybe he knows where he was taken. Even if the possibility is rather little. Though he knows this Asylum better than any other, he is a patient after all. I only used to have a few selected rooms, that I would visit every now and then. I had to take the risk.

"Okay, let me see if I can-" though before I could tell him my final decision, he cut me off midsentence.

"Oh my god...Thank you...?"

"Just call me (Y/n). We are in a rather bad situation, therefore there's no need for formalities." I answer smiling and held my hand out, that's when I forgot that he was still inside this metal cage. I laughed it off and took my hand back awkwardly.

He laughed at that.

"What is your name?" I questioned a little calmer.

"I'm sorry, but I can't remember my name...I'm variant 230-32." He shamelessly says and backs into the very back of the locker. This, of course, made me feel sad all of the sudden. I never knew that some of the patients don't have a name anymore inside these walls. The worst part of it, was the fact that they don't even remember it. Probably don't even remember who they were from the beginning.

"If you could decide, how would you name yourself?" I questioned. He thought for a short second, but soon smiled.

"Theodore." I smile at that. I stepped closer.

"Right, Theodore, do you know where the key is?" I ask nervous and scan the room again. He stays silent for a second. Trying to remember what had happened. Then he claps with his hand and enthusiastic says: "I remember! It's in his jacket! He left it on the chair over there."

I spun around and spotted the jacket. It was carelessly thrown over the wooden chair. I sprint towards it, before searching in its pockets.

"Come on...." I whispered to myself. Thats when I felt something cold and metallic. I pulled it out and found several keys dangling on a rope.

"You can't be serious." I say as I inspected every key. They look all the same?! Nonetheless I ran back to the man.

"Great you found it!"

"You mean I found them?" I say sarcastically and began to try the first keys that stood out.

"You need to hurry!"

"I'm trying my best!" I hissed out due to the stress I was in. I know that Eddie could be back any second.

"Come on.....come on!" I cursed out as my hands began to sweat. My fingers tremble as I tried each key. I began to hurry, footsteps were heard quietly at the distance.

"He's coming back!" Theodore says afraid and backs away from my sight.

"Don't worry, I got this..." but then, the keys slipped right out of my fingers. "Shit!"

I got on my knees. I reach for them, that's until my hand got crushed under a rather clean shoe. I hissed out in pain, trying to retreat it, though with no luck.

"Tsktsktsk. Who do we have here~? " , a voice questions. The smirk could be heard from a mile away. I lift my head and came face to face with Eddie. He glares right at me, tilting his head to the side before crouching on my level. "What were you trying to do, darling?"
