His crazed orbs met mine after the words escaped his lips. His hands never left my hip as I gazed at Waylon, who was panting heavily on the ground. His hands were pressed against his neck as he struggled to breath. I knew that the choice was now up to me, but this time a heavier burden hung on my decision. Eddie is not someone who struts around telling jokes, I noticed that at least by now, with all the corpses hanging over us. Waylon could be another dead body, if I choose to give the wrong answer. The pride, to admit that we played right into Eddie's hands, was hard to swallow. I knew what I had to do. Which decision is the right one, but I am afraid. Afraid of my future. Afraid that Eddie would still kill Waylon. Fingers slowly began to press into my hip, which tore me out of my thoughts.

"Well...?" Eddie hissed out. His patience was coming to an end.

"I...." my lips began to quiver.

"Y-You s-should run, (Y/n)." Waylon whispered as he tried to steady himself. Eddie's eyes were now focused on Waylon. The aura around us slowly became denser, it felt as if we were slowly suffocating from the tension in the air.

"I think she can decide for herself, you uncultured swine." Eddie answered, sptting the last words out with pure hatred, like it some sort of poison. Waylon wanted to say something, but he hesitated as soon as he looked into the eyes of the killer behind me.
"So, (Y/n)....my darling, what will it be?"

Eddie's voice sounded like the sweetest thing I had heard. His warm breath hit my cold neck as he asked me the question. His eyes came in contact with mine, immediately I saw the love and passion in his dark orbs. A cold shiver went through my body when his hand brushed across my arm. I took a deep breath.

"D-Do you p-promise, t-t-that nothing bad happens t-to Waylon?" I stuttered out. The Groom chuckled. His chuckle echoes through the whole room.

"I promise, my beautiful bride~" His hands took a firm hold on my wrists. He spun me around to face him and a charming smile took place on his lips.
"If I wanted him dead, he would be by now...and....since I'm a nice man, I promise not to hurt him, even though I could kill him now and keep you nonetheless, cause we both know...You couldn't escape me now anyway...So? What will it be?"

"I'll stay, but don't hurt Waylon."

Eddie sighed, not a dissapointed one, it was a sigh out of relief.

"Excellent choice, my dear...~" He released his grip on me and casually walked over to Waylon. With a swift pull he brought him to his feet and pushed him towards the double door across the gym, back where the aisle was.  I stood there, no knowing what to expect now or what to do. I reached my arm with a shaking hand and waited for the Groom to return. There was no option anyway. The longer I waited, the more uncomfortable I grew. The blood of the corpses above me dropped onto my head, which didn't make the situation better.
Silent footsteps got louder with each drop of blood. My head slowly rose from the ground, towards the source of the steps. Eddie casually walks my way, no Waylon in sight. He must have locked him up somewhere. The Groom reached my shaking body, a smirk grew as soon as he saw the effect he had over me.

"My darling~" He whispered under his breath as his eyes wandered over my body, taking in every inch.
"Has someone ever told you, that you look absolutely magnificent?"

No words escaped my mouth, I chose not to answer, which made the man chuckle.

"You're nervous...I understand...But after the ceremony, when I made you my wife...I promise...Things will be different, my dear~" his hands slowly caressed my cheek as he tried to make eye contact, with no luck though.

"Where is Waylon."

He sighs and bit his lip right after with an annoyed smile.

"You shouldn't worry about him now. That whore is sleeping..." he hissed out and took a knife out. His finger slowly went up and down the sharp knife, his eyes glancing at me as he did so.
"You, my darling, should worry about yourself, if you keep thinking about another man."

I gulped. A nervous laugh escaped my lips as I rubbed my arm.

"You're r-right. I-I was just making sure, that's all."

He nods his head and slowly approached my body, closing the gap between us.

"And I was speaking out my thoughts, that's all."

The knife was dangerously close to my chest, causing me to breath even more. My eyes glanced between the blade and Eddie, hoping that he wouldn't plunge it into my body. Eddie laughed as he put the knife away.

"I'm sorry, darling. I shouldn't make you so nervous, you getting married after all...you must be devastated." He said sweetly as he carefully took my small hand into his ones.
"I need to prepare the dress, I'll need your help for that, alright darling?"

"Ok..." I mumbled with trembling lips as he carefully pulled me with him.
