Lyra Snape x Fred Weasley (where he doesn't die)

Draco's apology

DRACO'S POV

When I nodded to Goyle to stab Lyra I didn't think anything of it. Until I am walking pass the Hospital Wing.

"NO! LYRA COME BACK! PLEASE COME BACK!" I hear my cousin -Seamus- yell.

"I'm sorry. She's gone." Madam Pomfrey says.

What have I done?! I never wanted her to die. I need to do something. I walk in slowly.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE MALFOY?!" Fred yells.

"I'M SORRY! I NEVER WANTED HER TO DIE! I WASN'T THINKING WHEN I TOLD GOYLE TO STAB HER! IF I HAVE TO DIE TO MAKE HER COME BACK THEN THAT IS WHAT I WILL DO!" I yell.

"WELL YOU SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THAT BEFORE YOU WENT UP AND ATTACKED HER!" Fred says.

I notice Fred's twin (George) and the trio (Harry, Ron, and Hermione) walk in. They see Lyra and run over.

"Like I said I never wanted this to happen and if I have to die for her to come back then I will. I'm sorry!" I say then run off to the Astronomy Tower.

HERMIONE'S POV

I see Lyra on the bed in the Hospital Wing and run over to her. I read some where that if you want to bring someone back, the person who killed him/her needs to apologize to the dead. Technically it was all Draco's fault so he is the one who needs to apologize to Lyra FACE TO FACE.

I tell everyone else this.

"You mean... that-" Fred begins.

"If Draco kills himself we won't be able to bring Lyra back." I say.

"Lets go get him." Fred says.

"No Fred you stay I'll go." Phoenix (Lyra's mother) says.

"I'll go too. Watch over her will you?" Professor Snape says.

"We will." we all say.

They leave.

"Lyra please come back!" we all hear Seamus muttering while crying on the edge of her bed. He puts his head down on her chest while sobbing: "PLEASE come back we need you. I need the best cousin in the world back!"

We hear someone come in and see Dean Thomas rushing over to Seamus.

"Seamus, mate come on." Dean says trying to pull him away.

Seamus gets out of Dean's grasp and stays where he was.

"What happened?" Dean asks.

"Goyle stabbed her and she kept saying that she wasn't going to make it. That she lost too much blood. We put on the bed right before she said this then the heart monitor went flat." Madam Pomfrey says.

"WE PROMISED TO LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER AND THIS IS WHAT I GET FOR LOOKING OUT FOR YOU?!" Seamus says.

We see Malfoy come back along with Lyra's parents.

FRED'S POV

Draco comes back in along with Lyra's parents.

"Ok what do I have to do?" he asks.

"Ok first we need to get everyone besides you away from the bed." Hermione says.

"Seamus that means you too." Dean says.

Seamus nods and goes over to his aunt/Lyra's mum.

"Ok now what?" Draco asks.

I am having doubts right now. I mean I'm feeling so empty. Without Lyra I have nothing except for the rest of my family. I think George knows what I'm thinking because he puts and arm around my shoulders whispers: "Don't even think about it mate. This will work."

"Ok now you need to put your hand on the spot where she was stabbed." Hermione says.

He does what she says.

I hear a soft meow from behind me. I turn around and see Shadow. Lyra's kitten. I pick her up and she instantly calms down before she sees Lyra. Once she does she tenses up. I pet her and then she calms down again.

"Now you need to apologize for what you've done to her." Hermione says.

"(See apology above)" Draco says.

"Now just give it a bit and the monitor should pick something up." Hermione says.

Soon the blood that dripped onto the bed to the floor was soaking up and went back inside the wound.
