Ruv's Point of View

I woke up to the sound of Sarv and Carol fan-girling outside my new bedroom.

"Wow, who knew Ruv swung that way?" Carol suppressed her giggles using her mouth.

"I wasn't expecting that at all!" Sarv said. She then whispered something to the other girl that I couldn't interpret.

"You have the hots for him!?" Carol whisper-yelled, gasping right after. "Shh, they may be awake!" Sarv pleaded.

Sarv...likes me?

I glance behind me. My eyes widen as I notice Whitty's arm wrapped around me. My cheeks turned blue (yes, that's the color of my blush).  I immediately got up, causing Whitty to turn over and complain.

"W..what time is it?" I heard the bomb-man say under his breath.

"Hmm..around 7:50 AM." I responded.

I didn't have the courage to talk about last night, but my impulsive tendencies reacted first.

"So, care to explain why you're on my sleeping property?" I tell him.

"Uhh...about that..." Whitty laughed sheepishly.

It was already stressful enough to be asking this. Just get to the point!

"You're the one who wanted to." He said.

"I really said that? I don't remember." I lied. I didn't want to create a story for the girls to scream about.

"Oh. That's okay. Just- don't tell Hex or the other two." Whitty laughed. I felt disappointment radiating off of him.

"Quick question. Were you...okay with sleeping next to me?"

"Huh? Well, I mean, it wasn't so bad, I have to admit."

. . .

Hex leaped out of our bedroom, as if he was awake hours ago. Pfft, he's definitely solar-charged or something.

"G'morning! Breakfast smells great!" Hex peered over Carol's shoulder to see bacon and eggs.

"You can quit the act, Hex. Everyone knows you can't eat human-processed food." Carol teasingly punched him.

Sarv ran over to me and hugged me tight. "Hey! Did you sleep well?" She asked as she hesitantly let go.

"Meh. I guess." I shrugged, showing no emotion. She laughed, then went close to my ear.

"I know you slept with him." Sarv said with a smile on her face. A fake one?

"Do you seriously have to bring that up?" I retorted too loudly.

"Ooh, someone's cranky." Carol interjected.

Third Point of View

Whitty was leaning nonchalantly against the wall near his bedroom door, gazing upon his phone.

I swear, has Carol moved on from teasing me to Ruv? I feel bad, but at least I don't have to have a say in this.

"Hey Whitty, is it true that you slept next to Ruv last night?" Hex questioned him gleefully.

Dangit.

"Who told you that?" I raised my eyebrow.

Hex pointed at the Russian, who was ignoring Sarv and Carol for the time being.

"Sorry. Sarv is being annoying." Ruv shoved her gently.

"I was just curious! No need to avoid me!" Sarv said.

"Hmph. I'll be brushing my teeth, then." Ruv walked to the bathroom.

"You didn't have breakfast yet! You don't wanna miss out on Carol's cooking." Whitty reacted fast, grabbing him back by the hand before he could touch the doorknob.

Out of the corner of the bomb's eye, he could see figurative flares of fire in Sarv's blank eyes. Whitty felt that something wasn't right.

"I do what I want." Ruv snatched his hand back and shut the the door. Whitty sighed, putting his phone into his pocket and went over to the kitchen island.

"Sarv, is he always that hard to deal with?" Carol smirked.

"Heh, usually he's easy-going when I'm around, but I don't know about now, since we're just moving in here." Sarv replied.

She certainly isn't taking this lightly. Whitty thought to himself. I'll try to cheer Ruv up if I can. Hex, him, and I will go on an outing, away from Carol and Sarv!
