Takes place later, after the meet-up

Ruv woke up in Whitty's arms, tired and bored out of his mind. The days have been repetitive; work, go home, eat, sleep, and so on. He kept pushing himself to do things, thinking about the regrets and memories he's left behind.

I'll tell Agoti that I'm finally taking a few days off work, Ruv thought. I should spend more time with Whitty.

He continued snuggling with him peacefully until he woke up, yawning loudly.

In a drowsy state, Whitty asked, "...What time is it?"

"9:45," Ruv answered.

"Wait-shouldn't you be at work?" Whitty said frantically, hastily moving his boyfriend out of the bed to get ready.

"No, no, I'm going to spend time with you instead." Ruv went back on the bed and hugged Whitty on his backside.

"Ohhhhh...I see."

Whitty smiled gratefully and turned around to kiss Ruv on the forehead.

"Thank you, I appreciate that." Whitty grinned, then pulled the two under the covers so they could sleep in for a bit longer.

Ruv blushed, laying on top of Whitty's stomach. "You're still shy?" Whitty laughed. "Hush." Ruv kissed him so he could quiet down. Whitty complied and they slept in for another 30 minutes.

. . .

After getting ready for the day and informing Agoti of Ruv's absence, they had a quick breakfast (Fruit loops ;D) and sat down on the ground by their balcony, gazing at the city.

"I'm still upset that the cafe is farther away. It was my comfort spot." Whitty sighed.

"I mean, it's not too far. The city doesn't exactly remind me of joyful times, but I'm happy as long as you are here." Ruv replies, leaning on Whitty's shoulder. The two sat there comfortably for a while, up in their own worlds with their feet dangling past the balcony.

"Hey, I have a great idea." Whitty broke the silence, looking at his partner.

"What is it?" Ruv inquired.

"How about I teach you some guitar? I'm quite the expert myself." Whitty winked and got up, his hand held out.

"That...sounds like a good idea. I remember, you have a guitar at your so-called secret hideout." Ruv took the bomb's hand and led the way to the front door.

"Ruv, why don't we go on a run? While you've been gone at work, I had a lot of time to work on these guns." Whitty rolled up one of his sleeves and flexed his arm. Surprisingly, it was very built.

Ruv stared at his arm.

"You were lanky the first time I met you. Very lanky."

"Gee, thanks. These arms were made for you, y'know."

"I'm still stronger than you."

Whitty shook his head jokingly. "You still can't accept the fact that I'm too hot to handle, literally, can you?"

"Show me proof that they're real then."

"Alright, Ruvy."

He runs towards him and swiftly picks him up, Ruv's hands quickly wrapping around Whitty's neck as a reflex.

"How is carrying me like a princess proving that you're strong?"

Whitty doesn't respond, but he opens the door, locks it, then dashes out onto the sidewalk as fast as he could.
