I've been in the hospital for exactly three days now,being the fourth day.
I think I'm going to go crazy my phone is now boring and the nurses are busy,and I can't call Aeon because he's at work,I stand up fed up with boredom,I make my mind to leave the hospital when my mom walls with my brother right behind her,she quickly drops her bags and comes to help me.
"Mom"!I whine, "I'm fine on my own",she leads me to the bed and I groan."I'm going to become cripple in this hospital,let me move around,Èjó!",
My brother smiles at my condition,coming to place his head in front of my bump","Your mom is very stubborn,I hope you have a better character",I gave him a nice knock on his head before I greet my mom.
My brother still rubbing his head frowns at me,"Why are so cruel,Lu!","Why are you so rude,Adam?.He grumbles under his breath because he doesn't want my mom to hear him and scold him,I just smile.
Adam is the best junior brother I could ever ask for,were so close some mistake us for twins but we also argue alot,still we love each other no cap.
So,...Mom why the sudden visit?","So I can't come to visit my daughter and granchild again ehn?",
"No it's not like that o,I'm just surprised but welcome,how was the journey here?,
"it was full of traffic na,the normal Naija way",Adam answers.Mom is sitting on the hospital chair next to the bed,mom suddenly sighs and I and Adam stop talking to look at her,
"Mom,is everything fine,why are you sighing".Mom just shakes her head,"See this small girl of those days questioning her mother",
I'm still a bit confused but say nothing,"it has been a while since we stayed together as a family and just ate dinner,or did something together and with the baby coming I thought it would be nice for us to just spend this afternoon together",
Mom looked at us with pride in her eyes.i smiled warmly at her,she has taught me so much,she practically raised Adam and I alone after dad left us for his work.i won't blame them,they were too young for marriage and so they fell out but sometimes I just wish my dad had stayed with us,we would have been very much happy.
I'm still I'm contact with Dad but we don't talk so much,but at least I know who he is.
Mom brings out the food packs she brought and gives it to us and takes a sit"Since Aeon won't let us take you out of the hospital,we have to enjoy ourselves here",Mom says chuckling.
She is very supportive of I and Aeon's relationship,even though is quite evident she wants us married she still stands by us and that's why I love her.
We said some prayers and begin to eat talking about random things, starting from Adam's life in university and it was so nice having a good time with my family for probably the last time
