Emma and Norman were sat in the taller boys bedrooms on the floor thinking about what they were going to do. "It was definitely her voice, I heard it clearly. No one else has such a... a taunting voice." Emma speaks, her voice cracked, clearly showing how terrified she was. "I know. If you say you heard it, you definitely did. I mean nothing can get past your ear so we just need to think of what to do now. I mean everything was going great up until now. What went wrong?" Norman explains before asking that question which caused the two to sit in silence and think. A few moments later, Emma runs to her bag on the other side of the room, grabs it and sits back down where she was. Opening the bag, she pulls out the book they bought from the library on their training camp to Nekoma. "Maybe this is like a sign to say 'we're coming for you' or something like that. I mean for all we know it could have a tracker in it like what we had in our ears? I mean we have looked through this book and analysed everything about it even though it just seems like a murder mystery book but that's what they would want us to believe right? I mean they are smart enough, they hid trackers in our ears from when we were babies for heavens sake! Maybe they put a tracker in a book which would stand out to us, the name and the front cover looking like someone we knew so that we could buy it and keep it with us. So when the book moves from the library, they automatically assume either a runaway child like us found it or just some stranger, but us keeping it with us would be a higher chance then a stranger. Maybe that's why it was so expensive. If this is true, we're screwed. Everything we've done.. The children's safety... The people who took us in are in trouble. Oh god what are we going to do? Do we run away again and leave everything behind?" Emma rambles on, not stopping until Norman finally interrupts "Don't worry Emma, we will figure something out. And even if it is true, we could just take the book far away or like throw it onto a bus that is going a long way. We should do that just in case right?"
The two came up with a plan to get rid of the book, now paranoid that there was a tracking decide in it. They knew how much tracking devices meant to Grace Field, so they wouldn't put it past them to put one in this book either. Their plan was to get into a bus, leaving the book on it as they got off. That would mean that the tracker would be constantly moving and the bus would go far away from where they are. Hoping that when the bus stopped at it's final destination furthest away from them, the bus driver would see the book and take it off the bus so it wouldn't come back. There plan went perfect, leaving the book on the bus that travels about 4 hours away form their homes and new lives they have built. It has been a couple of days since that, they haven't seen anything suspicious at all, no creepy shadows, people lurking or whispering their old names. They stared to ease up around everyone but always keeping a close eye on each other and everything around them.
The day was Thursday at lunch time, Sugawara told Daichi that he had to discuss things with Hinata, just like the shorted told Kageyama. This lead to the two sitting on the roof of the school, eating their lunch and talking. "Ok so we haven't seen or heard anything in a while, do you think we're safe?" Hinata questions, taking a drink from his water bottle. Suga finished off his mouthful of food and replied "I think we are, I mean everything is normal again right?" Hinata nodded, the two continued to eat their lunch and talk about the other children, bringing up mostly good memories from their past.
