Chapter 11

In the morning, both of the teams got up at 7am, got changed and did their usual warmups without even being asked by the coaches. After they had finished their warmups, the coaches instructed them to get the court set up and have a couple of practice matches before their lunch break. Most of the matches were won by Nekoma as Karasuno were trying out some new tactics which didn't go to plan the first few times they tried. They kept attempting their new tricks in every single match and started to perfect it, winning the last couple of matches before lunch. "Go to the cafeteria and get some food, come back to eat it here. Just don't make a mess and keep food on the sides of the courts! There is sandwiches and stuff like that so get whatever you want!" Coach Ukai shouted. Both teams headed to where they were told to go, got the food they wanted and came back into the gym sitting at the side of the court and eating.

Sugawara tapped Hinata's shoulder and signalled for them to go outside of the gym, which the shorter boy did straight away. Once outside Sugawara took something out of his jacket pocket and handed it to the other while explaining "There's the photo I told you about yesterday, I thought it might cheer you up a little because I can tell you miss Ray." "Thank you Norman, I'm just glad I have a photo of all three of us again." Hinata replied as he gave the taller boy a hug before placing the photo into his jacket pocket and heading back into the gym, Hinata sitting with Kenma  as Sugawara went over to Daichi. Noya and Tanaka saw Sugawara giving the other boy something outside of  the gym and as Hinata tried to put it in his pocket it fell out so the two ran outside of the gym, picking up a photo. They both started at the photo in confusion, seeing three children in front of a giant building. One of the children looked like Hinata with the fluffy ginger hair and the cheeky grin, but they were wearing a skirt. The two looked at each other and sprinted into the gym, directly to Hinata. "Shoyoooo!! Shoyo is this you?!?!?!?!" Noya yells while showing him the photo he just dropped. Hinata looks at the photo, checks his pocket to see it isn't their and panics a little "Shit... Did I really drop that" He mumbles, confusing Tanaka and Noya as they have never heard him swear.

Kenma looks at the photo and instantly recognises the three kids in the photo "That's the same photo Kuroo showed me..." Kenma thinks to himself as he looks at the photo closely. "So is it you dude? Who are the other people?" Tanaka questions, being his loud self as usual which drew the attention of everyone in the gym. "What's going on over here? Tanaka are you annoying people as usual?" Daichi asks, walking up to them with Suga close behind him. "Hinata dropped a photo outside so we picked it up and we are now questioning him about it." Noya explains. "Did you seriously drop the photo after I just gave you it Em- Hinata? Clumsy as ever I see." Sugawara laughs, almost slipping up with the name once again. Kenma looks over to Kuroo stood with Bokuto as they looked over curiously, he quickly snatches the photo off Noya and runs over to them. Hinata looks at Kenma shocked, then at Sugawara who was just as confused as him. Kuroo looks at Kenma confused as he runs over to him. "Look. It's the same photo you showed me when we first met. Hinata had it. I knew it!" Kuroo takes the photo that Kenma hands him, then constantly looks from the photo to Hinata. Everyone in the gym is just staring at him, while being in awkward silence until Kuroo speaks after a long while "Emma...?" "How do you-" Hinata was interrupted as Kuroo ran up to him and hugged him tightly "It is you... I knew we would meet again." "R-Ray?" Emma whispers, hugging him tightly. "Yes it's me! You remember me!" He cries. Everyone stares at the two even more confused as before. "Where is my hug Ray? Or did you forget about me?" Sugawara asks, smirking at him which he just looks at him confused. Silence. "It's Norman you dummy." He finally breaks the silence, revealing his real name. "W-what? B-but you got shipped? H-how are you alive?" Kuroo questions as Hinata pulls away from the hug, dragging him closer to Sugawara. "He somehow escaped, he doesn't even know himself. Crazy right?" Hinata answers the questions while wiping the tears from his eyes. "So we finally meet again, all three of us. It's been so long." Sugawara says as he opens his arms for a group hug, which instantly caused Kuroo and Hinata to hug him.

The three seemed to forget that everyone was surrounding them, dumbfounded. "Cough Cough" Daichi imitates to get their attention, which worked as the three of them faced him while getting out of their group hug. "What is going on?" Noya asks. "Erm well-" Kuroo rubs the back of his neck awkwardly as he explains part of their past together, leaving out the demons and great escape from the orphanage, replacing it with the lie that they got adopted which the others somewhat believed.
