Karl yawned feeling fur gently rub on his skin, making him rub his eyes and stretch. He forgot all about that his classes starts today. "Thanks for waking me Patches. I owe you one." Karl smiled rubbing her head then standing up from his bed.

Patches meowed and walked back over to Clay's bed. Karl rubbed his eyes as he walked into the bathroom. After getting done with his business he brushed his teeth then fixed his hair, gently running his hands in it to get the style he wanted.

He walked out the bathroom seeing that Clay was now awake, he brushed it off and continued to get his things together. Clay sat back and watched closely, watching how he does things.

One thing that he picked up is that Karl always hums when he does something.

"Do you mind? Like actually. Quit staring." Karl turned to him, his cheeks dusted a light red. Clay shrugged looking at his phone, and when he looked back up he saw Karl already dressed.

"You come together... nicely,"

"Bye bye Patches. I'll see you later" Karl smiles at the cat, completely ignoring the the blond. "Fine be that way." Clay scoffed. Karl gave him one last look before walking out the door.

He watched as Patches sat next to him and tilted her head. "What? It's not like we were gonna get along anyway." Clay rolled his eyes. Patches meowed curling into a ball and going back to bed.

Karl thanked Nova and tipped again. "Sorry that happened by the way just try to ignore him and his phony self" She says with a smile.

Karl giggled and nodded his head. "I gotta get to class, see ya Nov!" He walked away and searched for his first class.

After he found his first class, he quickly looked down at his time on his watch and thanked god that he was on time. He opened the door and walked in, getting a few stare's but they didn't faze him.

He gripped his bookbag strap as he walked all the way to the back. "Um.. do you mind if I sit?" He point to the chair hopping he was gonna say yes.

The boy looked up and gave him a smile.

"Oh no go ahead." He reassured. The boys voice was lingering with a British accent. Karl smiled thanking him and taking a seat then putting his bookbag beside his chair.

"I'm George, you?" The boy turned his head and eyed him. "Karl, with a K" He smiled. George nodded his head. Karl looked up once he heard Clays voice.

"Hey baby." Clay said bending down and pecking George on the lips. Karl looked over slightly and his eyes met with Clays. He smirked, pecking George one more time then walking to his seat.

Karl huffed leaning back in his seat, and pushing his hair out of his eye. "So.. you and Clay huh?" Karl smirked at George.

George rolled his eyes shaking his head. "It's nothing like that, we don't have a label on our relationship. It's just the sex is to good." George shrugged.

"And by the way I don't like him in that way." George added pulling out his notebook as class was about to start.

clay has some explaining to do.

Karl jumped out of his thoughts as he heard the bell ring, he quickly looked down at his notebook making sure he had all the correct notes.

"See ya Karl." George looked at him tossing his bookbag on his shoulder. Karl gave him a smile and a small wave.

Karl sighed putting his bookbag on his back and picking up his notebook.

"Hey K,"

He looked up his eyes meeting with green ones.

k??

"Hello Clay, i'd love to chat but I gotta get to class."

Clay sighed stopping him from walking away.

"I'm sorry for last night, you don't have to forgive me but take the coffee, it's just how you like it." Clay said with a smile making Karl roll his eyes in annoyance.

"Here." Clay said putting the coffee in his hand then walking away. Karl looked at the cup a small note attached to it.

'i'm sorry:( -clay'

He sighed taking a sip of the coffee.

"Man this is good." He said to himself as he walked out the class.

It was now time for lunch, Karl didn't really eat much. School food at that. He sighed walking over to a window far from the rest of the cafeteria. The window was pretty big, big enough for two people.

When you looked out of it, you could see the field where everyone played football and stuff. He wasn't really interested in it though.

"Hey Karl, is it?"

He looked up from his notebook and his eyes meeting with pair of blue ones, just like his."Yea.. who's asking?" Karl asked crossing his legs. "No one silly! Can I sit?" The boy asked. Karl nodded his head and watching as he hopped on the window seal.

"I'm Nick by the way, we're in the same geo class, I sat in front of you." He gave him a smile. Karl nodded his head and continued doodling in his notebook.

"Whatcha drawin'?" He asked looking over his notebook. Karl held the notebook up and Nick's eyes widened.

It was a drawing of Nova from the coffee stand. It was a very detailed drawing, her hair was wavy and the small details on her cardigan were visible.

"Wow, I can't even draw a stick figure! I bet you have like an A++ in art class." Nick said his eyes still looking at the drawing.

Karl thanked him with a smile. "I have art after this, today is my first day." He said lowly.

"Have you met anyone yet? People here can be dicks." Nick says watching as Karl stick his pencil inside his notebook then closing it.

"My roommate is a dick- excuse my language. He told me off last night when I was trying to get to know him."

"All I know is his name is Clay and he has a cat called Patches." Karl leaned his head on the window.

"Oh come on Clay isn't that bad, me and him have been friends since like pre k." Nick shrugged playing with his fingers.

"What did he say?" Nick asked.

"Some stuff about how he doesn't wanna make friends and whatever." Karl said fiddling with the tag on his sweater.

"Oh. I'm sorry that happened, I could talk to him if you want it's not a big deal." Nick said with a smile.
"It's fine, i'll just back off if he wants. And plus i'm friends with George, I think." Karl whispered the last part.

"That's good! George is nice." Nick smiled at him.
Karl nodded feeling his cheeks heat up.

Soon the bell rang and the halls began to get full again. "I gotta get to art now, it was nice talking to you Nick." Karl smiled swinging his bookbag back on his shoulder.

"You too, text me sometime." Nick smiled standing up and handing him a small piece of paper. Karl nodded his head giving him a small wave.
