Part IV

Hiyori was there all exhausted from all the shouting and you know, not calming her self in his arms. She breathed hard as she follows the so excited Yato from all the beautiful and amazing things the park has. She can't help but smile and feel happy but she knows that these kinds of things wouldn't last longer and worst, ends the fastest. She's wondering why is that? She stares at the back of the very important person in front of her. She can't help but to be sad about things. Why does it has to be her in the first place? She knows everything has a reason behind, that after suffering, a very colorful rainbow shall shine. She closed her eyes and was pulled back in reality when he exclaimed how amazed he is because of the place.

"Wah. Hiyori! mite! mite! sugoi! " (Wow, Hiyori! look! look! its amazing!)
He said while pointing some various rides in the park. He immediately ran the moment he's done choosing what to ride. He's more than excited. He looks like a kid that was given a candy for the first time and was really excited to eat it. There's too much happiness in his and they seem to sparkle in the middle of the crowd.

"Hai, hai.  Mo~ Yato teba. Kodomo mitai . " (Yeah, yeah. Yato, your acting like a kid.)
Hiyori uttered as she follows him wherever he goes. They are supposed to hang-out with each other but Yato's just so, you know, it's his first time here so he couldn't calm his self down. He just wants to jump and go wherever he wants. Hiyori's actually hoping the he wouldn't leave her there.

They rode a lot of rides, ate a lot of foods, took photos of each other, and had fun. They had fun until the beautiful sundown flashed in front of their eyes. The lights turned on and those made the park more beautiful. The moon is brightly shining in the sky as the stars waited for the people to look at them, Yato looked Hiyori into the eyes, "Let's ride the Ferris wheel." He stood up, pulled her hands and ran in the direction of the Ferris wheel.

The moment the Ferris wheel started Yato once again couldn't hide his excitement inside. Looking at the whole park from above is just so fantastic. The lights are sparkling and they are well designed.

"Woah~ Hiyori, mite mite! Hora! Asoko! "(Wow, Hiyori! Look, look over there!), Beautiful lights all over the place! ", Yato cheerfully exclaimed, sill looking outside the window.

Hiyori also started looking outside, studying the whole park with adoration," Wah. Honto ga , Kire." (Wah. Your right, it's really beautiful.) She roamed her eyes all over the place but for some reasons, they landed on Yato's face. Her admiration changed into adoration. She stared at him for a minute. Yato, still smiling caught Hiyori on act. He stared back at her and somehow, time seemed to stopped for them. They are drawn into each other's eyes as they continue to stare.

Hiyori, starting feel so awkward decided to talk that pulled Yato back to reality, "W-what? What is it Yato?" ,She blushed as she once again, stared at him. Though pulled into reality, the emotions that was hidden deep in his eyes started to show. He looks at her with sincerity and care.

He smiled, staring deeply at her eyes, "Thank you Hiyori."

Hiyori somehow received goosebumps not because of his thanksgiving but the way he said her name. It isn't the first time he called and yet why? Why does it feels like that this is? She felt shivers down to her spine when she felt how her cold hands turn warm because of his hands. He slowly intertwined their fingers and caressed it with care. He is beyond happy, beyond thankful because of her.

"I had fun and it's thanks to you. I don't know how to thank you at all. I know a simple thank you won't be enough so I promise," He paused for a while, slowly puts his hand on her cheeks and gently touched it, tracing her jawline. Electricity ran through her body as she feels the warmth his hand is giving her. She looks at him, waiting for the next words he will say. He smiled, "I will make you the happiest person in my life no matter what. Remember that."

Yato looked away, covered his blushing face with his other hand.. He wanted to know what she's thinking. He wanted to see what kind of expression Hiyori is wearing right now and so he peeked. A blushing Hiyori welcomed him. He looked down to their hands after noticing how her hand tightly gripped his. He smiled. He can't help but to continue smiling as they walk out of the ferris wheel but there's more to it, Hiyori didn't let go of his hand that made him look at their intertwined fingers once again.

When the parade started, people came rushing near their direction. They ended up letting go and far away from each other. He tried his hardest to look for her. He is getting worried and no Hiyori at all. His brows narrowed when he saw a lady lying on the ground, lifeless. Slowly, fear and worry ate him. He slowly went near the woman and when he finaly saw her face, coldness and pain embraced his heart. He slowly knelt down and held her in his arms. His hands started to tremble upon seeing the pain expression Hiyori has in her sleeping face.

"H-Hiyori?" He managed to speak, hoping that the woman he's holding would answer but not a word came after. He hugged her tightly, buried his faced in her chest then into her hair. He clutch his fists and angrily carried her like a princess as he whispers, "Ore no seda." (This is my fault.)

Once again, the moon is there, shining brightly in the sky. Stars are still waiting for the people to gaze at them for a wish. Noise can be heard all over the place but his ears are listening to nothing but the rapidly beating of his scared heart.
