Chapter 7

A lot entered in his mind. What does Hiyori wants? What is her one last wish? What is it? Is it so important? He watches Hiyori as she slowly moves away. Her smile's just so genuine.

She turned her back, "Yato , can you please just wait there near the altar?"

"Bu- wait, where are you going Hiyori?"

"Just wait there. I'll be right back and don't you dare follow me. "
She took a step and started running. That one sight where in Hiyori's running away from him pained him a bit. He knows that sooner or later, she'll be gone forever. He knows that but he just can't accept the fact that she won't return. He keeps on convincing himself that she'll come back no matter what, that he will be able to witness that one genuine smile she owns once again.

Though he's too worried about her, going away, he did what she said. He stood there, stared at the golden door and waited for her.

Hiyori on the other hand went to the garden behind the church. The moment she stepped her foot in it, she smelled the fragrance of the flowers that's growing in there. She saw how some petals danced with the wind. She saw how the trees swayed to it's direction, the butterflies that flew and the birds that sang. She smiled as she anticipates the whole place. It feels so nice and relaxing. She can almost sleep in its grasses. Suddenly, she started coughing as her vision became blurry. She took a glimpses of her hands, it has the stain of blood. She grimaced upon seeing the view and the pain of her chest. Her knees wobbled and she fell down. The loud thud made the birds flew and that one hit on the ground made her a lot dizzier. She tried her hardest to crawl in order to gain balance just to pick her favorite flowers among the plants. As she takes those, tears started falling from her eyes. She tightly held the flowers in her hands, closes her eyes and prayed. "Kamisama, Onegai. Please give me this one last moment to be with Yato. I know my time is nearing its end but please I beg you. Let me hug him, kiss him, feel him for the last moment." His voice trembled. Memories of him entered her mind and the feeling of wanting to be with even just for a short period of time is killing her. She really wants to be with him.

Patience is virtue, Yato started thinking about that for some reasons. His body's itching to follow her. It's been how many minutes since and she hasn't come back. He sighed and couldn't held back anymore. He took a step but just then, a lady with a flower crown in her head and a bouquet in her hands entered the church. His eyes widen upon seeing the lady as she walks towards him. Yato stares at her deeply with his dark blue eyes as if looking at she is giving him a hard time.

"Make me the happiest lady in the world like you promised." She whispered as she pulls his hands going right in front of the altar. She flashed her sweetest smile upon realizing what will happen next. She blushed, "I-I know it's weird but this style is what women wear when they're getting married." Uneasiness took part of her body. She started fidgeting, waiting for his opinion.

He stared at her with amusing eyes, "Yeah but that flower crown suits you. It's as if you're blooming with them. I couldn't explain it. You're just so beautiful." Hiyori felt her cheeks burnt red. She looked away and coughed, trying to gain back her poise and confidence.

She moved his hands upwards with a smile. She shoved a flower ring on it giving him an idea but unfortunately, he's too slow to get what she meant to say. She felt embarrassed and yet the man she loves couldn't get what will happen at all. She pouted because of the thought.

"What is this?"
He asked as he studies it. She pouted more than what she did a while ago and unbelievably looked at him. It's as if she's with someone who saw a flower ring for the first time or is it really?

"Just hold on to it! It's important."
She said, shaking her head.

The two went quiet and Hiyori used that opportunity to explain things to Yato. She said the vows, the exchanging rings so on and so forth. Yato felt a bit of embarrassment after hearing about the vow. It's as if he's confessing her love for him.
