Chapter 2

Athena and Trevor walked around the small town. Trevor introduced Athena to a lot of new people. Trevor was right they are all quite nice. Whilst her and Trevor were walking down the road Trevor shouted over to a guy in a sheriffs outfit. "Hi sheriff have you met my cousin yet she just moved here from Germany" Trevor says smiling. The sheriff looked at him like he found Trevor annoying but Trevor just couldn't read what his face was saying. "I've heard just haven't seen hello ma'am how are you today?" The sheriff said he face neutral. Athena understood the hello ma'am just forgot what the rest meant. "He said hello ma'am how are you today" Trevor translated for her. Athena mentally hit her self, she knew that one. "Oh Um good thank you" athena says. "Strong accent" the sheriff said. "Yea well she had lived in Germany her whole life" Trevor says smiling. "Well I'll see you around ma'am" the sheriff says tipping his hat. Athena nodded she knew that one. "That's sheriff bodecker he's a nice guy" Trevor says walking again. "I don't think he likes you very much" Athena says giggling. Trevor scoffs "what are you going on about" he says. Athena didn't push on she just carried on walking. "Now why don't we head home and unpack your stuff huh then we can make some dinner you hungry?" Trevor asks. Athena nods and follows behind him. When they got home Trevor asks if she needs any help unpacking. "I'm ok you can go make something to eat I'll be down in a minute" Athena says. Trevor nods and walks to the kitchen. She starts to unpack her stuff and put it away. After she's done she comes downstairs to see Trevor done with making a spaghetti and meatballs. "Here you go say grace?" He says grabbing her hand. She's not used to doing this it must be something he picked up on from his father since he was a religious man. Athena wasn't so she just went along with it. After dinner it's late so she says her good nights and goes to bed.
