Love

Good Morning

It's morning, a rabbit begins to stir. The first one to wake is the 3rd child. She begins by waking their older brother by moving him. He wakes in an annoyed mood, how dare she wake him on a free day?

"Jackson hurry up and wake up, I need help making breakfast."

"Ugh, fine. Let me get ready first."

With that Jackson stands up out of the bed and stretches, then ushers his sister out of the room so he can get changed. Then a movement in the bed on the other side of the room is made. Under the covers, popped out some snow white ears.

"Soren, if you want breakfast hurry up and get outta bed. Charlotte and I will be making some soon. And wake up everyone else when you're done."

"Okay."

Jackson, already dressed, headed out the room, leaving Soren alone.

Everyone was up and buzzing about in the kitchen, busy doing their own things while trying to finish their breakfast which was the usual french toast and eggs. Jackson was on the phone, talking to someone. Soren couldn't hear what but that didn't matter, what did matter now was beating Kaleb in a fighting match on the small game console they saved money for.

With a quick smashing of buttons, a beeping jingle sounded meaning a winner was made. The winner was Soren of course. Kaleb throws the controller in an angry huff and storms off, mumbling about something else to do other then the stupid game. Soren gets the idea of just rubbing his victory in his brothers face; but decides not to, in order to not get punched.

Soren giggles at how childish his brother acts at times, but starts busying himself with putting up the game.

A few hours pass, it's midday. People at work, school, life. Doing whatever it is to get through the day. Jackson walks into the living room where Soren is.

"Hey Soren, wanna go out and get some pizza?"

"Yeah"

"Ok go call Zoe, remember she's with the baby so don't be loud"

"Ok"

Soren quickly jumps to his sisters door, and knocks quietly. He opens the door and sees Zoe playing with her video game on low volume, and Evangeline asleep in the crib.

"Zoe we're gonna go get pizza, wanna come?"

"Yeah, let me save first"

With a few quick button presses, she shuts down the console and hops out the room after Soren. They get dressed for outside and Jackson is just getting the bus ids ready. He then gives the passes out to Soren and Zoe. They walk out the house, saying goodbye to the rest of the siblings.

They walk to the bus stop, the sky is bright blue, and few clouds are out this time. A breeze flows through them and makes the grass look as if it's dancing to a silent song. They make it to the bus stop, Jackson gives the bus driver a destination to head to, giving the passes. Bus driver nods and points to the seats, not many people are on right now.

They go and take their seats, it'll be a few minutes before they get to town. Soren watches the world fly by through the window, Zoe continues her game on a small console, and Jackson just sits and waits.

They've reached their destination, the bus driver zooms off and they walk off to the pizza parlor nearby. Humans are there, some glare and others just ignore them. Luckily some hybrids are there too, so it's fine. They step up to the counter and order their pizza. Since they have to wait until it's finished, they go out and walk for a few minutes.

Soren sees a small flower cart, flowers that aren't normal, flowers that are mysterious. He takes the moment that Jackson isn't looking to walk towards it. He spots a pure blue flower, the sign under it said it was a bluebeard flower, but he begs to differ. He reaches out and-

"Hey kid, I wouldn't recommend touchin' these beauties without payin up"

"Oh, ok"

Soren reaches for his pocket, he takes the few dollars he has and hands them towards the seller.

"Hmm, that'll do"

He reaches for the money.

"Hey!"

Soren and the Seller snap their heads towards the noise, it was Jackson, and he didn't look so happy.

"Soren what do I say about going where I can't see you?"

"Not too"

"Exactly, what were you trying to buy anyways?"

"Excuse me sir, you must be his guardian"

"...In a way"

"He just wanted to buy a flower from me, if the offer is fine will you let him?"

"These flowers aren't normal, no way. Soren lets go"

"Wait! I'll give it for free, just take a flower. They do nothing more than simple tricks"

"Ugh, fine. Soren take the damn flower"

Soren goes and takes it. It makes a slight popping sound when he grabs a hold of it. He drops it out of fright and looks at his hand to look for any injuries. Blue markings appear.

"Oh hell, what did you do!?!"

"Oh nothing sir, the flower simply did nothing but react to him touching. But if something does happen just call this number and it'll do the rest"

The seller holds out a card with numbers inscripted on it. Jackson snatches the card and grabs a hold of Soren and Zoe, going to the pizza parlor for the pizza that was long done at that point.

They return home, 2 boxes of pizza are set out on the table for dinner and everyone's at it again, talking about their day. Soren got to show his cool scar on his paw, everyone chewed Jackson out for not keeping a close eye on Soren. They kinda congratulated Soren on his scar though.

They quickly ate the pizza and went to go and start a movie, it was Charlotte's turn to choose a movie. She always chose the thrillers, so Soren, Zoe, and Evangeline had to busy themselves with something else if it got scary. Soren got to reading, Zoe got to playing a video game, and Evangeline got to napping. Midway through the movie the door opened.

Some rabbits looked, others ignored since they already knew who it was. It was their father, he had come home from work and didn't need the disturbance right now. He walked off to his bedroom and closed the door. Sometimes Soren really just wanted him to stay home, not be so tired, smile again. But ever since his mother left and ran off with another man he really hasn't been the same. He doesn't hate her for leaving, but why was his question. His dad never hit her once, never yelled.

He went to put his book back on the shelf and sat and watched the rest of the movie with his siblings.
