Chapter 4 (The Rookie 9)

Kushina POV

( let's pretend today is Sunday morning )

I just woke up and now I'm cooking breakfast for my boys. A few minutes later after I set up the food, Minato, who looked tired, and Menma who was ready to go somewhere, entered the dining room. We ate in silence until, Menma asked: " Mom, What happened to the girl ?" I answered, " she's alright, she'll live in an apartment and enroll in the academy next week." He just nod and hummed. 

Then Minato asked " You only saw the girl once and you're already asking how she is. Were you worried?" with a teasing smile. Menma just turned his head away and finish his food quickly. 

He brought his plate to the sink, and made his way to the door while saying " I'll be out in a bit, be back at lunch." once he's outside, he closed the door. A few seconds later, Minato chuckled " It's obvious he's worried" I hummed in agreement and said, " I wonder if they'll be a couple in the future. I bet they'll look cute together"

Menma POV 

'What did the girl do to me? I just saw her once, and now I'm worried(?) Kurama told me that if people don't have any chakra in them, then they'll die, But why is she still alive?'

Now I'm on my way to the hospital to visit the girl, Hopefully, I'll get some answer. But just my bad luck, I saw Hinata & Sakura in front of me and the others ( Shikamaru, Choji, Ino, Kiba, Shino, And Sasuke ) look like they're (Hinata & Sakura) arguing again but it doesn't look like they all know I'm here. Until that stupid idiot ( Shikamaru ) called out " Hey Menma." Everyone turned their heads my way. Hinata & Sakura yelled out " MENMAAA-KUUUN "and latched themselves on my arms while trying to push each other off. I just sigh, annoyed, and said in a cold voice " Get off me, you're both annoying." They both step away from me and start to whine " But Menma~~ " 'My ears hurt' 

"That aside, where are you going this early, Menma?" Shino asked. I answered " Well, my parents brought a girl here, she's in the hospital now. My mom said that she's going to be discharged today at 11 AM (A/N = It's 9 AM now), so I want to ask her something." " But you never cared about other girls, what made you care about this one?" Kiba asked, after fighting with Akamaru again. "None of your business" I answered. " Can we come? I'm also curious about the girl" Choji asked. 'But I was planning to go alone.' "Fine" 

We all arrive at the hospital, I asked the front desk where is the girl staying. The lady answered '309'. We went there, but when I was about to open the door, I heard someone singing inside, I carefully open the door and we all peek inside

Turns out it was the girl that's singing 

(A/N) = (the backpack is on the table beside her and the black cat is asleep, they haven't made the contract yet)

Her voice is so beautiful

After she's done singing, I open the door wider and the door let out a loud creak. Surprised, she turned her head to the door and saw us. She asked with a smile " Hello, can I help you?" All of us have different thoughts about her.

Menma = 'She's pretty. Hopefully, she isn't a fangirl.'

Hinata = 'She better not steal Menma from me, I already got forehead to deal with.'
