Chapter 21

Hailee's POV
-
When I finish greeting Asa's family, Asa is still talking to Morgan. Morgan is whispering something at Asa's ear and Asa laughs, walking to me. We go to his bedroom and I sit in his bed, grabbing my phone and calling my mom.
"Mom" I answer
"Yes honey? Why aren't you home?"
"Mom I can't go back home today because-" she interrupts me
"WHY!? It's something wrong!? Are you okay!?" She says worried
I chuckle "mom don't worry I'm okay, I'll tell you tomorrow. Don't worry trust me." Telling her this I feel that she relaxes more.
"Okay, just tell me where are you right now" she says and I look at Asa who's looking the moon through the window. I smile.
"I'm at Asa's house..."
"Asa..?! What are you both doing?" When she says that I laugh
"Mom we aren't doing anything bad, I'm okay it's just that... I'll tell you tomorrow, big story."
"Okay then, I trust you. Please be home tomorrow."
"Yes mom I will."
"Okay bye, sleep good. We love you."
I smile "bye momma, I love you too." Saying this I end the phone call and stand up, leaving my phone by Asa's phone. I walk to where Asa is and stand next to him behind him, he's still looking at the moon.
"Ace..." I say
He doesn't answers and smiles, still looking at the sky.
"Uhm..." I continue
"Hailee..." He laughs turning himself to face me "I want to ask you something..." He says nervously
I step closer and look at him directly at his eyes, putting my arms in his neck. He smiles and I smile.
He bites his lips and finally he speaks "do you want to go to the prom with me?" He smiles
"Asa, you don't know how long I've been waiting for you to ask me." I smile, he leans and gives me a kiss. I am so excited to go to the prom with him but I'm feeling a bit sad because I'm not his girlfriend yet. Yes we've kissed, and all that but we're at the friend zone. I guess he's still waiting for the perfect time to ask me. We stop kissing and he smiles.
"I'm glad you waited." He finishes the sentence and hugs me, we walk and sit in his bed
"Asa can you do me a favor?"
"Yes?"
"Can I stay today at your house? I can sleep at the guest room if you want, or at the sofa. I don't care but I need to sleep here. Please"
He laughs and grabs my hand "oh Hailee yes you can well... I need to ask my mum first but I guess she will say yes. And I think you can stay at the guest room"
"Really?" I say excited "thankyou!" I add
He stands up going to the door but stops "but Hailee, are you going to sleep with those clothes?"
"Oh... I didn't thought about that.." I say biting my lips and looking at the floor
"I can lend you one of my white shirts if you want, and well of pants... I don't know" he says and I look at him smiling
"If you want to lend me... And don't worry about the pants I'm wearing a short so it's fine"
He smiles "okay but the shirt is going to be a little bit big and oh! I can give you one new toothbrush I bought this week. I haven't opened it yet so I can give it to you."
I laugh "thankyou Asa really!"
He smiles and then goes downstairs to ask her mom if I can stay today.
He comes back really fast with a smile in his face "she said yes! And come here follow me! The guest room is next to my room." I follow him to the guest room
"Wow..." I say looking in all directions "I'm in a hotel?" I tease
"No" he laughs
"Well, it looks like" I smile looking at him who's staring at me
"Stay here, I'll be back" he says leaving the room
I walk through the bedroom, to the bathroom that is really luxurious like if I were in a hotel and then I sit in the bed, so soft and comfortable. Asa opens the door bringing with him the shirt, my phone and a toothbrush
"Here." He says handing me everything
"Thankyou." I say smiling
"If you want anything I'll be at my room" he says
"Okay thanks" I say and then he leaves me alone
I take off my shirts and I put on Asa's shirt who's a bit big, but it's fine. Just for a night and then I grab my phone checking the messages they're all of Taylor, I ignore them because I know she wants to talk about Douglas. So I turn off my phone and leave it on the night table.
I leave the toothbrush on the bathroom and I walk to Asa's room. I knock his door and he opens it. When I look at him he is shirtless. With his pants and all but shirtless. By the shock I cover my eyes
"Oh my god" I whisper
"What?" He laughs, I take my hand from my eyes and look at him who's looking at me.
"N-nothing" I giggle going in
When I get in I look at him shirtless, I see his muscles and his abs. He has abs. Oh my. Every girl dreams for a boy like Asa.
"So? The shirt looks good in you" he says searching for another shirt for him
I chuckle "aw thankyou, I'm going to stay with it." I say looking at the shirt then at Asa who's putting his shirt on, covering his muscles...
"Stay with it then" he laughs
"Really?"
"Yup."
"Oh thanks!" I smile "Uhm asa I'm hungry I haven't eaten since..." I add
"I know I know, my mum is making food right now" he smiles

We finish eating and Asa and me go upstairs to prepare to go to sleep.
We stand in front of his room looking at each other
"Thankyou Asa for everything you've done for me." I say smiling
"No need to thank me, thanks to you for making my life better" he says passing his hand by my cheek, I smile and I give him a hug, he finishes with giving me a kiss. The best one of the day I would say. We're wrapped in a hug, our bodies are so close and our lips are moving in sync. When we finish kissing, we smile to each other and I start walking to the guest room biting my lips. Thinking in how perfect my life is going to be with Asa. Perfect kisser. Perfect body. Perfect accent. Perfect personality. Perfect eyes. Perfect smile. Perfect hair. Perfect heart.
I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth. After a long day I finally lay in bed, trying to fall asleep. It's 11:08pm I still can't sleep, still don't know why. I get out of bed and walk to Asa's room. I open his door quietly and then close it quietly. I walk to his bed and I kneel next to him, I can see his face perfectly thanks to the light of the moon. I give him a soft kiss in the lips, running my hand in his hair then in his face. I finally stand up and start walking away.
"Hailee?" I hear his deep sleepy voice, I stay up there Freezed.
"What are you doing?" He says turning his lamp on, I turn myself to look at him, who's sitting in the bed
"I couldn't sleep, sorry to wake you"
"No, no it's okay." He says, I can see his smile. But he really is sleepy
"Well sorry goodnight." I say, before I turn around he starts speaking "do you want to join me?" Hearing this gives me goosebumps
"Join you?" I say nervously
He giggles "in bed... You know"
"Wh- what?" I say confused
"Sleep with me!" He says still laughing
"Ah... Oh... Yes.." I say, giving him a really confused and nervous smile, walking to his bed laying next to him.
"What where you thinking about?" He teases, turning off the lamp
"Nothing..." I reply
"Mjm... Well goodnight. I love you Haiz." He says, giving me a kiss at the forehead and puts his hand in my waist. I feel he falls asleep fast. I start getting sleepy, feeling his breath in my hair, his hand in my waist, hearing his heartbeat. I fall asleep next to the love of my life.
