Chapter 10

Hailee's POV

-

We were leaning for a kiss but we get interrumpted by Aramis

"Asa, Hailee! I finally found you! And... what are you doing?"

"Why? and umm.. nothing?" Asa says

"You almost kissed!"

"What?! Don't lie!" I say

"Yes you were" Paris says

"No!" I scream

I know we almost kissed by accident but drowning in Asa's eyes is so easy that makes my heart melt, and things are getting so awkward between me and Asa.

"Okay! sorry!" Paris says

"No it's okay" I say to Paris and I hug her

"So what is it!?" Asa says

"Douglas! He is here!"

"Douglas!? What!" I feel like I've been punched in the stomach

"What is he doing here?" Asa says

"I don't know but we need to go" Aramis says

"I don't see why we need to go? He's a good guy now" Asa says

"No we need to go" I insist to Asa

Nothing could ruin my day but this! This day was almost perfect! I almost kissed my crush! wait crush!? No he can't be he is my best friend nothing more!

"Okay" Asa says

So we start walking, Paris is walking with me and Asa with Aramis. Thankfully we are near the parking lot, Asa is calling his brother to come and pick us up.

Asa's brother arrives we get in the car As soon as possible.

"Why do we need to go early?" Asa says

"Because we need to!" I say

Thing were so perfect today why did Douglas had to ruin our day? Wait. But how did he knew we were at the fair? I didn't tell anyone just Taylor, I don't think Taylor told something to Douglas, neither Aramis, Paris or Asa.

ASA'S POV

Today was so perfect I need to accept, may I add that Hailee almost kissed me too? But I don't know why she insisted so much that we needed to go, when Aramis and Paris told us that Douglas was at the Fair. Maybe she doesn't trust him that much yet, or maybe because things are getting awkward between both of us, I have a crush on her, she doesn't has one in me. Since we got to the car she haven't talked to me.

We arrive at Aramis house he gets out of the car with Paris and they tell us goodbye.

I want to talk to Hailee it's like she has being ignoring me since we almost kissed. She is looking at the window, lights are reflecting her face. She looks so perfect and so peaceful.

We arrive at Hailee's home, she gets out of the car and before she closes the door I scream

"Hey Hailee Wait." She looks back and smiles

"What?"

"Can I talk with you?"

"Yes, You are so welcome to talk with me" she smiles

While im getting out of the car my brother says

"Asa you like that girl go get her!"

"No" I say trying to be serious but im dying of laughter in the inside

"Yes" he says

But I can't answer him im out of the car with Hailee in front of me

"What were you talking with your brother?" Hailee asks

"Oh nothing" I say

" Yeah yeah whatever you say." she says while looking to the floor

"Are you angry?"I say while trying to look at her eyes

"NO? why?" She says and looks back at me

"You didn't talked to me in all the way here."

"Im sorry! Okay? I was thinking about a lot of things."

"What kind of things?"

"Im sorry I can't tell you, I would love to tell you but soon."

"Okay" I say really preocupied because she's my friend! maybe she thinks im crazy because we almost kissed!

It feels like someone punch my stomach, I can't give her bad impression! No! Not today! So I add

"Im sorry we almost kissed" I say while looking at her, she was looking down and smiling

She looks at me and she moves her head up to mine, I don't know what she´s going to do. Is she going to kiss me? No it can't be. My stomach has a lot of butterflies inside. And when she is almost by my face she says

"You know what? It was okay, we didn't thought of it before doing it." she whispers at my ear, and then she gives me a kiss on my cheek.

And boom a lot of fireworks in my stomach explode of happiness!

I smile

She walks to the entrance door where her brother is waiting

"See you tomorrow" She screams

"See you!" I say

Yes this is the best day of my life! Im making a dance of happiness in my mind! While walking to my car. I get in the car and my brother says

"Way to go bro"

"I didn't did anything!"

"Yeah I saw everything she kissed your cheek."

"I know! This is the best day ever!"

"Good for you."

We arrive at home it´s almost 9:00pm Im super sleepy I say hi to my mom and my sisster, and I go to my bedroom.

I lie in my bed smiling. This is the best day ever.
