Chapter 14

Asa's POV
-
I start walking away, I don't want to cry. So I just inhale and exhale. I find Aramis with Paris and I seat with them.
"Hey Ace" Aramis says
Before answering I clear my throat but it fails
"Hey Aramis And Paris" I smile
"Are you okay Ace?" Paris says
"Yeah?"
"No not say yes, because I know you really well and no you're not okay Ace. What's happening"
I nod "Yes I'm not okay... Happy?"
"What happened" Paris asked
"Well Uhm Hailee..."
"What happened with her?"
Speaking of this hurts me. "She was with Douglas hugging him"
"Asa tell me something? You like her. Right" Aramis says
"No what are you talking about?"
"Ace please. Don't lie to me."
"Yes I do like her! What do you want?!" My head starts hurting so bad
"Calm down man... Calm down..."
"Sorry, it's that she brings me crazy"
"I know what it fells man... Paris brings me crazy too. But why didn't you told me that before? That you liked her? I was suspecting that you had a little secret."
"How'd you suspected? It was obvious?"
"Since you invited her to the fair. When you both almost kissed. I think that she likes you too."
"Don't be so... Ugh she doesn't likes me okay? And I prefer to delete all those memories from my mind."
"Asa. Why are you so negative? And don't be like that just because she was hugging Douglas they are only friends. And I guess that all that Aramis told you is true." Paris says
"I'm sorry. Being in love is bad. Sorry guys seriously."
"You don't need to be sorry it's okay." Aramis says
I smile. Trying to relax. The bell rings math class. I need to calm myself. Aramis says goodbye to Paris and I do too.
"Asa look if you find Hailee there. Talk to her. I know she will talk to you."
"Thankyou man."
We get to class. I see Hailee with Taylor and Douglas. Douglas again.
"Hey um Asa." Aramis interrupts me
"Why does Hailee has her eyes red? It seems like she was crying or something"
"I don't know. I'll talk her in snack."
"Okay" he says and we receive our math class

The first three hours finished. It's snack Aramis looks at me with a face of 'go talk to her'
and I do. She's at her locker alone and I walk to where she is.
"Hailee" she looks at me but doesn't replies
"Hailee? What's wrong?" I add
"Nothing Asa! Just! Ugh!" She starts walking away... It hurts to see her like that
"Wait Hailee!" She stops walking and looks back, coming to where I am
"Asa please... Leave me, I don't want to hurt you." She starts tearing up and drops a tear on her cheek. I move my hand to her cheek and clean the tear
"Hailee? What are you talking about?"
"Ace... I'm sorry but you won't understand." She says looking down
"Hails you won't hurt me... I love you" she looks at me, I stare in her eyes.
She sighs "Asa... I love you too" and she hugs me... I can't believe she loves me. But surely is as a friendly way.
"But Asa please..."
"What?"
"Stay away from me. I don't want to hurt you."
"As I told you Hailee you won't hurt me!"
"I'm sorry! I can't!" She walks away again...
