The relaxing moment with your skeltal relative was amazing. You couldn't believe you not only managed to meet the Ernesto De La Cruz, but to get into a physical touch with him as well!

After about a half an hour of you two enjoying the peaceful moment, you suddenly heard a voice coming from the skeleton. He let out a yawn, sounding harmonic, like he was singing. You couldn't help but chuckle at that.
But then a thought crossed your mind. Was he still tired? Well.. Of course he was, he was awake since last afternoon for the party until this morning. But you were quite awake. After all, you had a nice nap at Ernesto mansion yesterday, and the excitement today at the show wasn't really enough to tire you.

The sleep on the couch with you wasn't enough to the skeleton, you guessed. But you were afraid that he will just send you back to the living world once he goes to sleep fully. but instead of trying to beg him to let you stay, you decided to wait for him to do the move himself, to see what he does.

"ayy..." you heard him let out sleepily, and saw him looking down at you with a small smile. "that was nice" he spoke softly. this made you smile back at him. you sure couldn't agree any more with that. you smiled to the heavenly thought of you and him resting together like this at each evening Ernesto would return home tired from his work. yes, that would create the perfect bond between you two.

"but... I know you slept a little while ago, and I stayed awake all day, so I guess I should be the one to get more rest than you do!" he said a bit playfully, now gently putting you on the sofa and getting up. you chuckled a little at his tease. he sure reminded you of your brother; teasing, but in a loving way.

he began to walk out of the living room and went towards the stairs. you got up from the sofa and stood by the entrance to the living room, to see where he was headed next. your eyes widened a little with worry as he went over to the stairs, with rails full of golden petals. one of those petals were the one to send you back home. was he planning on sending you home, like you were afraid so?

however.. instead of reaching a petal, he just walked up the stairs, then paused for a second. "security!" he suddenly let out in a louder tone of voice. you got surprised a little, and got slightly intimidated as you saw a large door opening up roughly by two guards with black suits and sunglasses, looking like twins. they walked quickly to the center of the hall, facing Ernesto, didn't seem to notice you.

"I'm headed to a rest. I want you to take (y/n) and show her around the mansion" the musician commanded to them, then giving you a sweet wink, then proceeded to walk up the stairs to his bedroom. you felt a huge relief at this moment. not only did he let you stay, but he allowed you to explore even more of the mansion! with the company of the two strong guards, of course. you gave him a big, happy smile, and nodded him as a sign of 'thank you'.

once the musician was out of sight and went to his room, one guard put a hand on your shoulder. "alright, nina. come with us" he said with a serious voice, yet quite fond to you. you nodded at the guard and gave a smile to the other, letting them lead the way.

you found yourself in a big round room in the mansion, with giant rows of shelfs and a big, fancy chandelier on the ceiling. at each shelf, there were over 20 books, mostly about music and history, and some romance, fantasy and action stories. you raised your eyebrows at the fabulous sight. you LOVE books! but you didn't know Ernesto liked to read books as well. and... so many! he didn't finish all of them, for sure.

"this is the great library of senor De La Cruz. some books here were based on the movies he performed in, as well" a guard explained to you. you couldn't help but let out a small "woah..." at the sight. it sure looked like a library from Harry Potter, or another fantasy location of the kind.

you wish you could stay in that place for a little longer, but you had a big mansion to continue and explore! you and the guards left to another location, right near the library room. it was a giant location, with a big, round pool in the middle of the room, with pictures and posters of Ernesto, both alive and dead, on the walls. you frowned at the thought that Ernesto already has a pool at the main hall in his mansion, but soon you noticed something different in this other pool... it had lights in it that changed colors, and small blowers connected to the pool underwater. you gasped happily at the realization that this was a jacuzzi! you have never seen a jacuzzi in this size before. you knew you will enjoy staying in this place, for sure! well, if Ernesto allows you to use the jacuzzi, of course.

"this is Senor De La Cruz's main jacuzzi. he was planning on making it a guest room, but soon came to the realization that he already has three of those in his house. so he decided to make this room his own personal gain" a different guard explained to you. 'that's a smart choice..' you thought to yourself with a quiet giggle.

---------

you and the guards continued with your "adventure" of exploring the mansion. you enjoyed every single moment of it! you saw his personal cinema room, the garden with fake plants (since nothing is alive in the land of the dead), the reharsal room.. and even a small room for his cute chihuahuas, with toys and beds for them! this place sure was unreal.

"and that's all of it" a guard said to you with a smile, after a trip that took you 45 minutes to complete around the mansion. "it was all so... amazing! thank you so much!" you beamed at both of the guards with a big smile. to keep their professional expression, they just smiled at you and nodded at you as saying "you're welcome", and soon went back to their area.

after that quiet long trip, you sure felt a little sleepy, especially after your brain managed to process all the amazing rooms you visited in less than an hour. luckily, the guards left you at the main entrance to the mansion, so you could easily, find your way to the main hall again. once you entered the mansion, you were planning on going to the guest room to rest, where you and Ernesto cuddled before. but soon, another thought came over your mind.

you looked over at the library room you visited at the start, and walked closer to it. you looked at the small golden sofa near the books, with a mini fireplace under the shelves. you smiled happily at the sight of it as a nice place to relax at. you entered the room, and gently sat yourself on the sofa. it was amazingly soft, and puffy as well. you rested your head a pillow in the same color as the sofa, and slowly closed your eyes, enjoying the feeling of warmth from the fireplace, and the books full of knowledge and stories all around you.

as you were in your sleep for over 2 hours, you weren't aware as a sound of clicking boots entered the room. it was Ernesto De La Cruz himself, after he woke up, chucking softly and quietly as he noticed you asleep on the sofa. he very quietly entered the room, and looked through the shelves full of stories. he trailed with his hand through the stories, until he could find the one he wanted. soon, he found it. he grabbed the book, and looked down at you with a side smile as he uproached you, gently placing the book next to you on the sofa, and then left the room, letting you reasume your sleep.

-------

after another hour, you woke up from your sleep. your eyes slowly opened, processing the light of the fireplace. you rose up and groaned sleepily, rubbing your eye with your hand as you were waking up fully. after you finished, you were planning on placing your hand on the sofa, but landed it on a cold, smooth thing instead. you looked down in surprise, as you saw a big book on the sofa with you. 'was this book here when I came here..?' you thought curiously.

you took the book in your hands, and examinated it.

"The Nutcracker And The Mouse King".
