When the Quidditch World Cup finally came around, Brooks did, in fact, carry Mabel, who was deep asleep, on his back. Hannah and Ernie followed behind them. Ernie was a bit confused as to why Mabel was sleeping on her fathers back, but Hannah told him it was because she didn't sleep the night before from excitement. That sounded like Mabel, so he shrugged it off.

Once they got to their tent, Brooks laid Mabel down on her bed and helped Hannah and Ernie settle in.

Finally, the time arrived for the Cup to begin.

The Abbott's didn't have the best seating, but the kids didn't mind. They were at the Quidditch World Cup, for Merlin's sake.

The majority of the Abbott party decided to root for Ireland because Brooks was from there, but Mabel was in red.

Because she was rooting for Bulgaria, the match was intense for Mabel. She was constantly yelling at them to get their act together and had the foulest words to express it.

"Hey, Bellybutton. Why don't you get some food before you accidentally start a fight?" Brooks suggested.

"I wouldn't need to start a fight if they would quit all of the awful playing," Mabel yelled the last part at the players. Brooks moved her shoulders to face away from the pitch.

"Here is some money. Don't spend it all." Her dad handed her a couple of coins. Mabel took the coins and stomped away.

She never took her eyes off the pitch as she made her way to the snacks. She ordered a giant lolly, and even then, her attention was on the game.

While she waited for her sweet, Ireland made another goal. Mabel groaned, and her hands flew up in anger.

"Quite passionate about Quidditch, are we?" A voice beside her spoke. She turned and saw George Weasley covered in green.

She rolled her eyes. "Like you aren't." She turned back to the game.

"Oh, I am. That's why I chose the right team."

"Oh, please. We both know Bulgaria has been amazing all season."

"We both know?" George teased.

"Yes. Because if you knew anything about Quidditch, then you know Bulgaria has amazing players—"

"But a horrible captain."

"He's not horrible."

"Say that to the scoreboard," George chuckled. He put his hands into his front pockets and motioned his head to the scores.

It was then that Mabel got her large pointy sweet from a worker. She turned to George and pointed it at him. "Keep talking, and I'll shove this somewhere you won't want it."
