Kiyotaka PoV

I stared at the coffee drink in my hand and then looked towards Asahina-senpai.

" Ayanokoji-kun. Can I ask you something?" She said.

" Depends on the question." I responded with a safe reply.

" Whatever question I'm about to ask you. I want you to be honest." She said.

" Isn't that kind of unfair?" I retorted.

" It's nothing that is related to your personal life." She assured.

Honestly, I can already guess what question she's about to ask....

I sighed and took a sip of my drink.

" Go ahead then." I allowed.

" In the past week, I felt the feeling of being watched in certain places. I always noticed you around those times....." she said as she narrowed her eyes at me.

" So you think that I'm stalking you?" I asked.

She nodded, " Yes."

" Sorry to disappoint, but it's merely a coincidence. And like I always say, coincidences can be freaky. " I said while shrugging my shoulders.

" I don't believe it." She says, " I want you to be really honest........please.... " she pleaded.

Should I really be honest?

I was simply curious about her.

I never really wanted to actually talk to her.

But it seems like fate has other plans....

I thought about it a bit more and then finally decided.

I sighed.

" Yeah. I have been observing you in the past week." I admitted.

Her eyes widened.

" I knew it...." I heard her mutter.

" I didn't mean any harm while doing so. I was simply curious, after all, you ARE a star in show biz." I added in order to not be labeled as a 'pervert' or 'creep' or something worse.

She nodded in understanding.

" Don't worry. I didn't think of you as some sort of creep with bad intentions. I just wanted to confirm that you were definitely watching me." She said.

Confirm?

Why do I have a feeling that she's about to say something el-

" After all, you noticed me at the library.....right?" She said.

I pretended to check the time on my phone with a disappointed look.

" Oh, would you look at that. I have to go home now. It's getting late." I said and stood up.

" Is that so?" She asked suspiciously.

I nodded.

" Yep. I still have to cook dinner for my little sister." I excused myself.
