A New Start

Chapter 28

This is weird. 

You looked down at the white envelope Nat handed you. All it said was "open me" on the front of it. 

What is going on?

You opened the envelope, and there was a piece of paper tucked inside. 

All it said was "Cheeses, breads, cookies, and meats. Go to the place where everyone eats". 

You looked out your doorway, but there was no one around. You looked at your phone, but there were no messages. 

What is going on? 

You made your way to the kitchen to see what was going on.

"Hi Livy" Sam stood at the stove drinking a beer. 

"Sam, what is going on?" you asked him, eyes scanning the darkened room. 

He just smiled and handed you another white envelope then he left the room. You looked at the envelope and then around the empty room. Shrugging your shoulders, you opened the envelope and read the paper that was inside. 

"Bermuda Triangle" was all that was written on it.

What the heck does this mean? 

You usually are referred to that because you steal clothes. So, you headed to your laundry room on your floor. When you arrived at the laundry room, Clint was standing there smiling. 

"Hey kiddo" he handed you another envelope and left. You opened it up.

"Sticky and sweet, you come here to roast this treat" it said on the paper. 

The firepit? 

 Can't be the kitchen as you were just there and there was no other place you could have thought to roast anything...so you headed to the firepit. 

Wanda was standing there, and she handed you another envelope and walked away. She was smiling from ear to ear and waved to you when you opened the envelope.

"Head to the place where you like to cuddle, amongst your friends when you stay in and snuggle" it read. 

Hmm, that could either be the theatre or living room. 

You headed to the living room, but no one was there, so you made you way to the theatre room and found Bruce sitting on one of the couches reading a book. He gave you the next envelope that was tucked inside of the page he was reading. 

"Bruce, do you know what is going on?" you asked him. 

He smiled and nodded. 

"Can't tell you Livy, you'll figure it out "he said as he walked out of the room. 

You had a sneaking suspicion what was going on, so you continued the game you were now in.

You opened the envelope Bruce gave you and it read "The best kiss of my life". 

You blushed like crazy at the thought and knew exactly where to go as you made your way to your hallway. Vision was standing in between the doors and greeted you with a nod while handing you, his envelope.

"A good place to go to get a breath of fresh air, even if what you heard may not have been fair" the card read. 

You scowled at the card and got instant sweat forming on your forehead. 

Was this the balcony? 

You headed to the balcony of the party room, and sure enough, Steve was standing there waiting for you.
