Cole's POV:

It really hurt when Lydia said we were best friends nothing more and that she doesnt think we would ever date. I really like her i recently figured it out when we were gone i had missed her so much everyday and when i say the pictures she posted on her facebook of her and her family and some of her and her friedns i almost broke down in tears because i missed her so much. I need to figure out a way to get her to fall for me...

"Hello? COLE!"

I was snapped out of my thoughts by Lydia waving her hand in front of my face...

"Yeah?" i replied

"I asked you a question!" She said

"Oh i didnt hear you!" I said

"No shit sherlock you were to busy being zoned out" she said giggling.

"Shut up!" I said playfully hitting her arm she hit me back and said

"Anyways my question was what do you feel like having for dinner?" She asked

"Umm i dont know anything sounds good to me!" I said smiling at her

"Ok!' She said and layed down on my lap again.

I imediately started playing with her hair its an instinct i guess whenever we had done this before i would play with her hair it started when we were 13 and boy troule vame in for her and girl trouble came in for me we woukd always go to each others house' and she would lie on my lap and i would play with her hair and we would just talk about our problems with dating it wa always comforting and we both loved sitting around and talking to each other we havent done it recently but thats gunna change soon... I hope

"How about we make something." I said

"Oh my god yeah thats a great idea lets go Cole! The rest of you hold on we'll bring it out when its ready." Lydia said

"Ok" the boys all chimed. Lydia got off my lap and grabbed my hand pulling me up and dragging me into the kitchen. We started to look in the cupboards when i saw some gravy and i got an idea.

"Hey, Lydia do you have french fries and cheese?" I asked

"Yeah. Why?" She replied

"Well we could make a poutine!" I said

"Oh my god another good idea. Since when do you have any good or smart ideas! Aw who cares i love you!... As a friend" Lydia giggled and then kissed my cheek i blushed and said

"Love you too Lydia!... As a friend." I said imitating her at the end we both laughed and then started to make the poutine...
