You have such a noble heart. I liked how you were willing to do anything for your sister. To be able to free her from being hit constantly by Taiju. I was a bit shocked when hearing that you had lied about being the one that was doing the protecting.
I don't see why you would hide that Yuzuha was the one protecting you. I mean... yeah you would think the man would be the one pulling the punches... but even if you were ashamed that she was protecting you, you still looked cool trying to stand up for yourself.
I'm glad I helped you change. Hakkai, I understand feeling powerless against someone who is so much stronger than you. But I hope you know that standing up against them, even if it means taking a few beatings, always makes a difference. I mean, take the word of a guy who always gets beat up by people stronger than him. But regardless I keep getting back up, right?
It's a little weird writing you a letter. But you come out to be one of my closest friends in the near future. And you stick close by to Mitsuya, but that's not really a big surprise is it? I think Mitsuya is another reason why the two of us get closer as friends. He's the connection, and I'm honestly glad to be able to consider you as something more than just "Hakkai from Toman".
Taiju won't bother you or Yuzuha in the future. That I can assure you of. Don't question it, though. You stood your ground, she stood her ground, he can't push either of you around anymore. So he kept his distance because he can't control the two of you. At least you can rest knowing that you and your sister can at least live a bit more peacefully.
Y'know, I saw a bit of myself in you when we fought against your brother. I only came in there with the intention of stopping you (or rather Yuzuha) from killing Taiju, but seeing you so determined to keep him away from your sister... that resolve reminded me of myself. It reminded me of how determine I am about my cause.
You looked cool. Really cool.
I hope you can continue protecting your sister from any harm (though I think she'll be just fine. She's super cool!!). Never back down again Hakkai. You're a lot stronger than you think you are.
