Dear Akkun,
Akkun. One of my bestest friends. God, it's so hard writing this to you. I want to keep you safe from harm. But you're always there in the future, somehow in the deep end of it all.
It frustrates me. I have the ability to change everything and yet no matter what, it's always the same for you. You're always the one who ends up a pawn for some revenge plan, and it costs you your life.
I know this sounds crazy, but I've witnessed your death one too many times. You, who was like the heart of the Mizo Middle 5. You, who had the dream of becoming a hairdresser.
Such a modest dream, something so common and achievable. And I was looking forward to being the first person you "experimented" on because you were barely an intern at the shop you worked at.
Any other time I would have protested but, it was you, so how could I deny? I may have been your guinea pig for that, but I trusted that you wouldn't do a bad job.
Akkun, I need you to be able to somehow stand up for yourself. Don't let yourself get pushed around. Don't just follow what someone says all because they're stronger than you.
Look at me, I've gotten my ass whooped so many times by people stronger than me. And although in the past I may have let them walk over me, I don't let them do it now. Even if they're stronger, even if I know there's no way I could win one on one, my determination always comes through for me.
My willingness to keep fighting, that's what makes me stronger than anyone I go up against. And Akkun, I know that you can get to that point. You're stronger than you think.
So please, don't get used like some pawn who's life is worthless. You have such a bright future ahead of you I just know it.
Oh, and make sure to show this to the rest of the Mizo Middle gang, yeah? I want them to know that whatever I've said to you, applies to them. All of you have been the coolest people I've ever hung out with. I've had so many laughs with you guys, and I wouldn't trade those moments for anything.
I appreciate you guys. When that fight where Draken got stabbed broke out, I thought there wouldn't be a chance for me to be able to stall until the ambulance came. But then you guys showed up. You always have my back.
Thank you, truly. I couldn't have picked better friends. And remember, strength comes not just from the way you are physically, but from the way you are mentally too.
