TWO FACED

01 - THE BEGINNING

     "she's going up, get ready" a voice transmitted from a walkie talkie, a tall man could be seen walking towards the elevator soon after.

     as soon as the elevator opened, he greeted the lady in view "nice to meet you, miss charlotte".

     charlotte could be seen checking the man out, clearly interested. "you don't look as bad as i thought you'd be, your name?", she asked, eyes roaming around his body.

     "it's nikolas", he answered.

     "alright nik, follow me", charlotte demanded, going to her requested room as nik tag along behind her. "you can take a seat on the couch. i'll get you something to drink", she said as they entered the room.

     charlotte went on, heading for the kitchen as nik just followed her words and sat on the couch. while pouring the drinks onto a cup, a slight smile formed on charlotte's face. she dropped what seems to be some sort of rohypnol into nik's cup, stirring it well and making sure it could barely be seen.

     "sorry it took long, i didn't know what to pick" charlotte claimed, faking a smile before giving nik his drink, which she had spiked.

     "thank you", nik said as he accepted the drink, gulping a few sips down.

     a few minutes passed by before charlotte decided to speak up. "you came here for some business right?" charlotte asked while she kept close look on nik's facial expressions.

     "oh yes, i was here to-" he stopped midway as his vision was getting a bit blurry, his breath being unstable as he tried to calm himself down.

     "are you okay? is there something wrong?" charlotte asked, hiding her smile as she took a few steps closer to him, almost leaving barely any visible gap between them. she placed her hand on his forehead, pretending to check his temperature.

     nik then grabbed her hand, pulling her close onto him before a grunt was heard coming from her as soon as a knife was embedded right into her heart.

     "atleast you made my job easy" he said as he took her hands off his shirt, leaving the now lifeless body of the girl on the couch.

     "yuck, now everything is bloody" he said before washing his hands and changing his outfit completely aswell as forcing himself to vomit to cancel out the effect of the rohypnol. he then went to the kitchen, turning every stove on and putting one of his old cloth on fire, throwing it on the body as he locks the door before closing it.

     "it's done" he said, talking into the walkie talkie.

     "well done" a voice replied.

     "i'll be down in a minute" he stated as he took the elevator down after, keeping his head low and avoiding the cctv around the building.

     "welcome back xav, you did great" the man who was sitting inside a van complimented, as nikolas or his main name xaver, got into the van.

     "i really hate this types of missions" xaver complained. "why does it always have to be me who needs to seduce the targets" he added.

     "well you're just better at it and it has been your task since day one" the man claimed.

     "true, you guys aren't that great in those situations. especially you rhemi since alex has someone that would scold him if he were to be on seducing mission" xaver snickered, grabbing his dagger out of his pocket before instantly throwing it out the window.

     "WTF WAS THAT FOR?!" rhemi asked as he stopped the van on the side of the road but before it even stop, xaver had jumped off the back, getting his dagger back as he takes the motorcycle of the man he just killed with the dagger.

     "did you really just killed a man for no reason?" rhemi asked while alex is just there, on his phone.

     "no reason? i wanted his bike so i'm taking it. i'm just joking, don't be so shocked about it. they were following us ever since we left the building", he explained, pointing at the gun the biker had on his belt before taking it and kicking the body off the highway.

     "oh i'm staying somewhere else tonight so get home safe, say hi to gray too and.. well the others" xaver answered nonchalantly, getting on the bike, speeding right after as he waved goodbye at them.

     "your brother is crazy" rhemi sighed.

     "our brother you mean, just let him be" alex chuckled as he gets back into the van, rhemi following him into the van aswell.

     after travelling for almost an hour and having to buy flowers, he finally arrived at his destination, the graveyard. placing his stolen helmet away before taking his phone out to look at the news.

     "they work fast, it's already out, the death of xx's ceo charlotte, how cliche" he scoffed, inhaling the air.

     "oh the sweet sensation of victory" he added, getting off the motorcycle soon walking to a grave with the flowers he had brought, placing it onto the grave as he look down at the gravestone.

     "how are you, mom? i'm doing great, the others too. well i'm only great in my own perspective" xaver said, his face barely having any emotion besides a plain, pitiful smile.

     spending enough time at the graveyard, he finally went back to his apartment that he had rented just for him alone for when he make visits at the graveyard. throwing his jacket onto a chair after entering before immediately going to a whiteboard, crossing out charlotte's name. eyes shifting to his phone the moment it ding.

     "we have a problem. some investigator came to us looking for you" he read out loud before chuckling.

     "i'd like to see this some investigator"
