Her Bad Habits!

"New Friends!"

"So what do you say?" Jade asks Alex who seemed shocked at his request. "What are we doing here?" Kira asked in a rather angry tone, "Alex has to get home!". "Umm i don't mind, we can stay." Alex replied with a smile. "Ayt then, let's go. My guys are waiting inside." Jade said getting out of the car and signaling for everyone to do the same. Alex cheerfully got out and Kira was the last one out. She couldn't believe this. The trio made their way inside and to where Jade's friends were siting. There was Kat(Jade's best friend), Gugu, Amanda and Max. "Sup you guys, this is Alex and y'all my wife here." Jade said holding Kira's waist. Alex scoffed at that and waved at the group. They all sat down and shared small talks and laughs over ice cream. A few minutes went by and everyone was comfortable with one another up to the point where Amanda and Alex started their conversation a distant away from everyone.

"Seems like your friend is adjusting very well" Jade said with a smirk on his face looking over at Amanda and Alex as they stared deeply in each others eyes. Kira cringed at that site, it made her blood boil. "I wanna go home please." Kira demanded. "Chill babe, we will go now and besides your friend is still enjoying herself. Kira sat down with her arms folded, she sulked as she looked over Alex who was giving her attention to some other girl. She didn't like the way she looked at Amanda, how her face lit up and how she smiled after every word. She hated that it wasn't her in that position. She stood up abruptly and went to the bathroom. That caught Alex's attention, "I'll be right back." Alex said standing up and making her way to the bathroom, as much as she was having fun with Amanda, she still cared deeply for Kira. She was the woman for her, she didn't have eyes for anyone else. 

"Are you okay?" Alex asked Kira who was washing her face and looked up to meet Alex's eyes in the mirror. "Shouldn't you be on your date?" Kira asked as she wiped her face with a paper towel. "What are you talking about?" Alex asked raising her eyebrow. "I saw how you were looking at her, blushing. You were basically drooling over her." Kira said with a stern voice. "You seem happy with her." she whispered more to herself. Alex scoffed, "so that's what the attitude is about, Amanda? I just met her and I don't even like her like that." Alex exclaimed, "It's you I want." she said under breath. "And why do you even care? You have Jade remember." Alex said in a rather angry tone. Kira felt stupid for being jealous, of course it was stupid, she had a boyfriend but she couldn't help it. "Yeah of course, I'm sorry." Kira finally said as she walked out the door leaving Alex alone. "Shit." Alex said with her hands on her head, she felt bad for handling the situation so harshly but she felt like she had to. She quickly collected herself and took out her phone from her blazer pocket, the time was 18:00pm. She got out of the bathroom and made way to where the group was. "Umm, I have to leave now, it was nice meeting you all." She said with a warm smile that seemed directed to Amanda who responded by blushing and looking down. "Don't you need a ride home?" Jade asked. "Uh, no I already requested an Uber, it is 5 minutes away." Alex said. That wasn't a lie though an Uber was actually on the way.

5 minutes later Alex's ride came. She got in the car and greeted the driver who was very chatty but Alex didn't care, she drifted to her thoughts which made her heart bleed. Her mind was only occupied by Kira and endless questions. "That will be R180." A voice disrupted her thoughts. "Uh?" She said coming back to reality. "That will be R180." The driver said. Alex looked out the window to only find out that she was outside her house. She looked around for her bag, "Shit!" She sighed. She had forgotten her  bag in Jade's car. "Umm do you mind if I go to get cash quickly?" Alex asked. The driver just shrugged and she took that as a yes and quickly went inside the house and got a R200 note. "Here you go and you can keep the change." She said handing the driver money. The driver drove off and she went back inside and shut the door loudly. "Everything okay Miss?" A concerned Selena asked. "You know I don't like being called that." Alex said letting out a small laugh. "And don't worry I just had a long day but nothing a hot, steamy shower can't fix. Alex made her way to her room where she prepared to take a shower, she took a shower for about 30 minutes and got out with the towel wrapped around her body. It was 20:00pm. She took out some short pajamas, moisturized her body and got dressed. She sat on her bed getting ready to text Jade on Instagram about her bag when she heard a knock on the window.
