➸ YOU PUT YOUR BAG IN ARMIN'S CAR AND —

sigh, you couldn't believe that you would be camping for the weekend. Mikasa cheers and hugs you, "Come on! we're going to roast marshmallows and tell spooky stories." she pinches your cheek. "Is Eren coming?" she asks Armin.

Armin shrugs and gets into the drivers seat and you get in back. You haven't seen Eren since he left school early and wondered if he was ok. "His mom's in town so he might not."

You could understand that and hoped he was doing ok with his family.

To waste time you fall asleep against the window and hope you don't touch poison ivy.

You get out of the car and are grateful that Connie and Sasha already put up a few tents. You see some people you haven't met around the camp ground and stay close to Mikasa.

"So Connie and Sasha in one, Armin and I in the other and y/n will have her own. Everyone else can do whatever." Mikasa says and everyone nods in agreement. You walk into the spacious tent and lay out your sleeping bag to get more comfortable.

It was nighttime and you pull out your phone to check it but you didn't have any service which makes you toss it to the side in annoyance. You jump when Armin walks in, "Shit you scared me." you whisper out and sit down.

Armin sits in front of you and holds a small container, "I was told to give this to you." he places it in your hand.

You open it to see pre-rolled joints and look back up at Armin in confusion, "From Eren?" you ask in disbelief.

"Yeah." Armin smiles sadly and stands up to help start the fire. You see about four joints and it only makes you miss him even more, you wished he was here even if you two were in a rocky spot. Over the days you had regretted doing what you did to Eren, it was so sudden and you barley put any thought into it.

Why couldn't he break my heart,

You shove the container into your jacket with a lighter and walk out to everyone around the fire and Mikasa waves you over, "Where are you going?" she asks.

"Just on a walk by the river." you point and she nods, "I'll be back." you promise.

The water was calm and you could hear the small waves that soothed you in a way. You sit down on the soft grass and pull out a joint to start. You got high pretty quickly and to not trip yourself out or get lost you walk back and immediately change to get into your sleeping bag that felt like a cloud.

You lay back and smile at the high feeling you had and recall all the times you and Eren had smoked and done stupid shit. You couldn't take it anymore, all you could think about was him.

You let scream when an arm wraps around your waist but a hand is over your mouth to muffle it.

"It's just me princess."

Hurriedly you turn in his arms and hug him tightly, holding him extra close that surprises him but he accepts the hug and kisses the top of your head, "You're such a dick." you mumble into his chest, "Actually you're not which makes me hate you even more."

He chuckles and lifts your chin up to look at him, "Don't cry, I'm here." he wipes away the small tears at the edge of your eyes,

"I know this can go somewhere, we can go somewhere so please just let us continue and see where that is." he pleads and feels himself tearing up, "Fuck, I'm so flawed baby and I'll always be trying to better myself but letting you get away would be the biggest mistake I make."

"Let me prove that you're not just another girl."

There was silence as you soak in his words like a sponge, feeling overwhelmed, so much could go wrong but you didn't think much about that because he drove three hours to the middle of nowhere for you.

"Eren, I'm sorry I got jealous and ended things without much of an explanation." your eyes close when he kisses your face, "Because I didn't want to end things, I was just scared of you breaking my heart I guess I tried to break yours first."

He rubs the back of your head soothingly and sighs, "I know and I can't blame you."

"I was so stupid Eren." you felt embarrassed and thought that you ruined everything. "I assumed the worst of you when you had treated me well."

Eren shush you gently and kisses your lips. The kiss was slow and you melted into him, missing the feeling of his soft lips against yours. You kiss him back and moan when his tongue brushes yours and a leg is hooked over his waist. 

"You're not stupid, you were being cautious." he says against your lips and moves down your neck, "Will you go out on a date with me?"

Your eyes open and you push him back to look at his face, "Huh?" you ask in shock.

"Will you—" he kisses your cheek, "go on" forehead, "a date" nose, "with me?" he kisses your lips with more urgency, want.

You wait until he pulls away to answer, "Yeah.. I guess." you joke and he takes a hold of your hand to kiss multiple times, "What time is it?"

"Like four." he yawns and gets more comfortable with you.

"Why'd you come so late?" you ask and share your blanket with him so he wouldn't freeze.

"I wasn't going to but my mom practically kicked me out of my own apartment so I would drive down here."

You laugh, "I'm sorry about that but not really since you're here." you breathe in his cologne and sigh in content, "Never let me go Eren."

"I won't baby."
