Kai: and the Grim Forest

Meanwhile during the mission Sensei Koko was leading the way, when suddenly she heard a crack of a stick and she slammed whatever came at them, it was a girl, she seemed to be the same age as the students, she too pulled out a staff, but then blades appeared from it, Finn tried to show off and snuck up behind her and choked her with the staff, when suddenly the staff departed and turned into sickles and she kicked Finn to the ground and smirked. "You're weak!" She yelled as she slashed, but Finn kicked her in the foot and she ended up piercing his leg.

Finn screamed and disappeared and reappeared behind Sensei Koko. Sensei Koko blew a dart at her and she kicked it back but Sensei Koko caught it and threw it into her leg. She ran back to where she came.

"Master!" The girl huffed and puffed, "they're coming!" She hollered. "Thanks, young one, you are very reliable, Hunter." A hoarse voice told. The mysterious man sent the guards to stop them, as the big, fire-caught soldiers, in dark, shiny armor stomped against the trail, they had no clue what was coming.

Kai and Kunai were playing cards when suddenly a blanket thing walked up stairs and into the room, "w-what is that?" Kunai whispered, "Tsuya is in Blanket Town right now and after she's very... different." Kai explained she walked over to Kai and grabbed his arm, Tsuya sighed and grabbed a pillow off the bed and set it next to Kai and laid down. "Oh so she's different, different?" Kunai asked, "yeah" Kai answered, patting Tsuya's head.

"Got any kings?" Kai asked Kunai, "dang it!" Kunai yelled as he threw the card at Kai, Kai chuckled and picked up the card. Kunai smirked, "got any aces?" Kunai asked confidently, Kai sat there staring, "indeed I do." Kai said blandly, still staring.
"Cool beans." Kunai smiled and he grabbed the card, "and that's game Kai." Kunai announced, they were tied.

Tsuya then woke up from her short nap just to see Kai's face, "good morning starshine!" Kai said in a high pitched voice. Tsuya yawned, "good morning" she replied, "I'm kidding it's 9:12 at night" Kai smiled and Tsuya smiled back. Kunai turned on the TV and a horror movie was on, Kai watched someone's internals become outside of their body, Kai eyes went wide as he watched the light leave the person's eyes. Tsuya noticed and put her head on his shoulder, Kai grabbed a pillow and smothered his face with it. Kai muffled his screaming into the pillow as Tsuya patted him. "You done?" Tsuya asked, "yes I am done." Kai said very terrified and blandly.

Sensei Koko and the others camped out that night and people took shifts to keep guard, they built a little campsite Wanda built a little rivine filled with water, Jay and Finn made traps, as Jay pulled back the last catapult they heard a crack of a branch once again. Jay lit a branch to see, Jay walked into the forest a little bit just to hear something behind him, it grabbed him, the next thing he knew he was on the bed of the forest unconscious.

Ume couldn't find him and decided to look for him, she too heard a crack of a branch but she quickly turned into a little squirrel to hide from Hunter. Hunter didn't notice the squirrel and Ume trotted along the forest floor to find Jay, she soon found Jay and she tried to grab him but Hunter grabbed the both of them and took them to their hideout.

"What are your names?" Hunter asked sternly, "U-ume and Jay" Ume responded, "Can you name all your friends in your group?" Hunter hissed, "Umm, there is, Finn, Wanda, Kunai, Tokor, Tsuya, Ray, Kai, Tai, and Sensei Koko." Jay managed to slip out. "I didn't see that many when I first saw you guys, where are the others!" Hunter demanded, "Kai, Tsuya , Kunai, Ray, and Tai are all back at the campsite!" Ume exclaimed, "describe them" Hunter asked shortly, "Kai has black and purple hair, same as Tsuya , Kunai has mostly white hair and black fade, Tai I actually haven't seen him in person yet, and Ray has black and green hair." Jay described the five. "Can you please let us go?" Ume exclaimed.

"Yes after this question, why are those five at the campsite?" Hunter asked calmly, "they were injured from the last mission." Jay answered quickly. "Please let us go!" Ume yelled, "Ok" Hunter said as she pulled out her sickles and killed them. "Master, where should I put the bodies?" Hunter asked, "in the fire pit." A hoarse voice responded.

Kai, Tsuya, Ray, Kunai, and Tai, slept in a pillow fort that they made just to kill time. They watched TV, they played cards, they played hide'n'seek, they just hung out while the others were on the mission, they then all fell asleep on blankets and pillows, Tsuya yawned and grabbed a pillow and squeezed it tight and fell asleep. Kai lied awake staring at Tsuya and she then opened one eye and smiled, she then grabbed his hand and put it on her head, he giggled and patted her head and fell asleep with the others.

In the morning Kai and Kunai still slept while the others chilled and ate breakfast that Kocho made, Kocho went up stairs to wake them up just to see that Kai's leg was on top of Kunai's head and Kunai's hand on Kai's face. They woke up and they laughed, they got into uniform and went downstairs with the others.

Tai was laying down on the couch watching TV, Kai sat next to Tsuya and Kocho handed him some pancakes, "thanks." Kai thanked Kocho, Kai chowed down on the pancakes sitting on his plate. Kai then went into the bathroom to take off the bandage wrapped around his waist and arm. It was healed, Tai knocked on the door "Kai, you good bro?" Tai asked, "yeah, just taking off bandages." Kai responded, Kai walked out of the bathroom with the bandages in his hands.

Sensei Koko and the others went to the tower to complete their mission, Finn led the way, with the others following him they were telling stories of other missions they went on. "Do you guys remember when Sensei Koko was fighting that demon in the black kamino?" Finn asked, "Yeah, I thought she was a goner!" Wanda giggled, "Hey, I wasn't that much of a goner!" Sensei Koko tapped Wanda with her staff.

They continued their march towards the lair of the demons, Sensei Koko suddenly stopped and watched some demon troops pass by, just by the sound of a snapping of a stick it alerted them!
