Kai: and the Grim Forest

SHOWDOWN

Sensei Koko knocked on the door and ran to a nearby bush. When to guards came out of the front doors, "Ding dong ditched again! Dang goblins." Muttered one of the guards. Before the went inside Sensei Koko chucked a kunai at them, but instead the demon caught it! He turned and smiled, but it was more like an evil grin, he threw the kunai back in Sensei Koko's direction, she quickly reacted and kicked it out of the way. The guards alerted the other demons and in an instant Sensei Koko was surrounded by horrifying smiles and claws.

Back at the Campsite Kocho is preparing the ninja's stuff to go help on the mission, they pack their bags filled, with weapons, spell books, and such. As the exit the Campsite they here Kocho yell to them, they notices she holding a bag and running towards them. "May I go on the mission with you guys." Kocho asked eagerly. Kai smiles, "Of course!" Kai exclaimed, smiling ear to ear. They venture out to through the treacherous woods, at first it was a peaceful walk in the park, but then Ray noticed the ground rumble, she turns and sees a stampede of bull! "RUN!" Ray screamed, Kai turns almost confused, he squinted his eyes and his eyes go wide as an ocean, Kai grabs Tsuya's hand and they sprint as fast as their little legs could. Kocho uses her power to levitate all of them off the ground till it passes by, after a couple of minutes pass, she slowly let's them down. They continue their "peaceful walk" Tsuya is still gripping to Kai's arm, and when she lets go there are hand prints.

Sensei Koko pulls out her bo staff, and hits the ground with a gamma wave, which sends some of the demons to fall on their swords, Jay and Wanda noticed Sensei Koko need of assistance, Jay jumps from the building and lands with a thump, "I'm back!" Jay hollered while burning the surrounding demons with his bare hands, Wanda jumps from the balcony and lands on two demons and starts drowning them with her water, Wanda and Jay put their powers together and start blinding the demons with steam, "It burns! Those brats!" The leader yelps. The demon leader punches the ground with a ridiculous amount of strength sending Jay and Wanda flying, went hit a tree and Wanda hit the fortress.

The demon leaders sword was at Sensei Koko's throat, "Any last words?" The demon asked. Sensei Koko turns and smiles, "Yeah. You bring sunscreen." She smirks. The leaders face goes blank, "Why would I bring sunscreen?" He asks, suddenly he gasps for air, he looks down and sees a blade through his stomach. "Sup?" Kai exclaimed and activates his dark fire burning the opponent in front of him, before he died as he's turning to ash he says "I get it now." The demon leaders sword clangs to the ground, when they turn their back they hear crunching, they turn and look down at the ashes and they are starting to clump together back into the leader. Wanda quickly as it fully recovered over flew the demon with a ball of water. "What are you doing?" Tai asked. Kai answered for her, "She's drowning him, you can't regenerate what isn't gone." Kai laughed. Suddenly they see the air bubbles stop and the struggling from the demon discontinues. Wanda faints into Jay's arms, Jay looks around and sets her down.

Kai looked at the corpse of the demon in a strange way and felt it's pulse and there was still a heart beat! Kai was about to warn the others but someone sent him into soul realm. "GUYS HELP!" Kai screamed. "They can't hear you, here in the soul realm living people can't hear a soul." The demon leader explained, "If you tell the other when you get out of the soul realm, see up there? That's an assassin, you tell anyone, she know and kill that Tsuya of yours." He cackled. Kai looked up at the assassin. "Oh you mean that assassin?" Kai question. "Yes, of course the only assassin that's over there!" He shouted. "Uhh, look again." Kai giggled. "What do yo- what the HECK!" The demon leader screamed as he saw, Tai with a knife at the assassins throat, "Do anything to Tsuya or any of my other friends, he'll kill your assassin." Kai smirked.

Meanwhile in the real world, Kai's body falls over, Tsuya turns quickly and sprints towards him, she checks for a pulse and starts crying. "What's wrong?" Sensei Koko asked quietly. "Kai's pulse is gone." Tsuya cried, Sensei Koko noticed the demon leader's hand grasping Kai's wrapped foot. "He's in the soul realm, I've seen this before, there is a spell in his book I saw him practicing it." Sensei Koko explained. "What does it do?" Tsuya asked still tears falling. "Wakes him up but at a cost, his least used mood will be the only mood for a while." Sensei Koko told everyone. Tsuya enchanted Kai and he woke up, they waited for a reaction, but nothing happened. "Get up stupid!" Finn yelled, Kai got up and pushed Finn against the wall "SHUT UP!" Kai yelled. "Crap it's anger!" Tsuya yelled. "It's fine Tsuya, I'll never get mad at you." Kai winked. Kai looked up at the assassin and

Tai was losing! Tai suddenly got thrown of the tower. Kai quickly sprinted to his falling brother, "Gotcha'" Kai caught him. Kai set him down and climbed up the tower and fought the assassin on the stair well. Kai got slashed on the face he put the assassin over the edge of the window. "Please don't kill me!" A girl's voice screamed, Kai took off the assassins hood and mask, she looked like she was thirteen or fourteen. Kai let go and that was a big mistake, she put him in a choker hold with a knife, "You'll be good as an evil person!" She yelled. "Like I'll join you!" Kai scoffed, he broke out of the choker hold and grabbed her by the throat. "I know it's wrong to hit a girl but..." Kai stopped he looks down and she stabbed him! He dropped her and froze for a second, he grabbed his stomach. "Nice knowing you." She said sarcastically, she pushed him out the window, but before she could realize he was holding onto her leg, dragging her down with him.

Kai and the assassin both hit the ground with a crack. Tsuya and Kocho both ran up to Kai, and enchanted and wrapped him up in bandages. They then helped the assassin, then they walked back to the campsite where they interrogated the assassin. While Kai rested in the hospital bed, Tsuya sat next to him in a white, soft chair, while Kocho was mending his wounds. "Looks like one of his arms has broken." Kocho told Tsuya, "Tai you have a broken leg, due to the impact at which you fell." Kocho said sadly. Tai sighed "that sucks." Tai groaned with his head done. "Tsuya let's see your injuries." Kocho said grabbing Tsuya's arm looking at the big gash in it. "That's pretty bad." Kocho told Tsuya while pulling out some ointment. "This might sting a little." Kocho warned Tsuya. Tsuya moaned in pain, soon after Kocho wrapped it up in bandages. "Ok your all set." Kocho told Tsuya. Tsuya nodded and sat back in the chair, and waited for Kai to wake up.

A couple hours later Kai woke up to the lights off and everyone was gone, he walked around and saw a clock, it read 2:18 o'clock AM. "Dang!" Kai thought to himself. Kai walked up stairs and knocked on the door to his and Tsuya's room, he walked in and saw Tsuya sleeping peacefully. He fluffed his pillow and pulled up the covers and fell asleep.
