Omega was sitting on the chair, hugging her knees, terrified and confused. Where am I? Why am I here? What did my dad want with spices?

The room was pitch black, smelt musty, and she could've sworn she heard something scurry on the floor. She wiped her runny nose on her sleeve.
The door clicked; she waited for it to open. It didn't. After a few minutes, she slipped off the chair and tried the handle. It was unlocked. She peeked out the door, shielding her eyes from the bright fluorescent lights. She squinted and couldn't see anyone in the room. She pushed the door open and walked in. There weren't any windows, the only way out being the two large metal doors.
She nervously ran to the nearest one and tried to open it. Locked. She tried the next one. Also locked. I'm stuck.
With each passing moment, the reality of her situation became more real. There's now way out... She tried the door again; it refused to move. She ran to the other one. It was still locked.
"What am I supposed to do?" Omega could hardly breathe. She backed up and tripped over the drain in the middle of the room.
"Ahh!" She fell, landing on her side and skinned her hands. She hissed at the pain, keeping her hands close. She looked at them for a second, the air stinging the scrapes. She remembered what her dad did last time she scraped her knees.

Omega was skipping along the sidewalk, playing hopscotch. She tripped and scraped her knees. Hunter rushed over as soon as she cried. He saw that she scraped up her knees, so he picked her up and took her inside. He had her clean them with soap and water, he patted them dry with a towel, and put a damp paper towel on each knee. Then he picked her up and took her to the living room, where they watched some TV until she felt better.

Omega looked around. There wasn't much in the room. There was a metal rack in each of the corners and metal tables between them. She spotted a box on one of the metal shelves. The box was on one of the lowest shelves. There were also a few water bottles on the shelf above it. She got up and grabbed a few bottled waters and put them on the ground beside her. Then she kneeled down and pulled the box off of the shelf- it was kinda heavy, and having her wrists taped together made it a whole lot harder. One of the first things she found was a roll of paper towels. She was also able to find a small first aid kit and a pair of scissors.

It took her about five minutes, but she was able to get the duct tape off of her wrists. She rubbed her sore red wrists as she sat on the ground. She took her water bottle and poured a little bit of water on them. It helped. So, she went over to the drain and rinsed off of her hands. She patted them dry and put a damp paper towel on her scrapes. She closed her eyes and sighed. It was soothing.

There was a commotion at one of the metal doors. Omega picked up her things and scurried to her door. She closed it enough to leave a sliver of light. She heard the metal door open and something slid in. The metal door shut again and she heard it lock. She sighed and peeked into the room to see what it was. It was a box of pop tarts. She stepped into the light and went to the small box. She picked it up and saw that it was cinnamon flavored. She didn't realize how hungry she was. The only thing she ate today was cereal. She opened the box and grabbed a silver package. She put the rest on one of the metal tables.
She took a bite from her pop tart and went back over to the box to see what else was in it. She found a flashlight and extra batteries. This will be useful, Omega thought.

The rest of the day was uneventful. The only time she left the room was so that she could use the restroom. During that time, she was so close to the front door of the building, but she knew that she couldn't make it. But, she did notice the window in the grey room could be opened. And it was more than big enough for her to go through. She just had to figure out how to escape the square room first.
