Taehyung didn't know how to feel. Cheerful? Relieved? Still depressed? Probably a mix of the three, he decided. Sorah agreed. For some reason, she agreed to his request. Sure, he bribed her, but he hadn't expected it to be so easy to convince her. He wondered what caused her to say yes so quickly. Was it pity, maybe? Or maybe she just really, really wanted that penny board.

Either way, Taehyung was glad to have stumbled upon such a result from the events of the few minutes before their Algebra 2 teacher strolled into the room, announcing her presence with a loud clap that served its purpose, quickly quieting the noisy students that had been chattering away in her absence, and apologized for being late, stating that she'd been busy dealing with family issues, mentioning something about a grandparent being taken to the hospital.

Now, as he shoved his things into his backpack, zipping it up for the end of his last class, the only one he spent without Jimin, he considered whether or not he should follow up with Sorah and ask her when she'd be available for a first 'date'. He tugged on the blue straps of his backpack, keychains clinking and jingling as he hoisted it off the ground and onto his back and shuffled along the grey, tiled floor of the classroom.

Jimin met him in the hallway, fiddling his silver earring as he came to stand by Taehyung's side. "Hey," he greeted, and Taehyung replied similarly.

"Do you know what Sorah's last class is?

"No idea." Jimin shifted his gaze to something behind Taehyung. "But she's right there, so you could ask her yourself."

Taehyung glanced over his shoulder, swinging his head around to find that, indeed, Yun Sorah stood with a small group of students, appearing uninterested in the conversation topic, flicking her gaze around and raking her teeth over her reddish-pink bottom lip.

Taehyung motioned for Jimin to follow as he approached the girl. Sorah furrowed her eyebrows immediately as she felt a light tap on her left shoulder, tensing up slightly, but she softened up as she recognized the boy standing next to her. Only slightly.

She broke away from the group of students she'd been lingering in, following Taehyung a few steps down the hall, then tucked her hands into her pockets and stared at him.

"One question," He started. "Do you have time to come over tonight so we can talk a little? We'll probably hang out at Jimin's house to make a plan."

   "Yeah. I'm free," Sorah replied.

"You know where my house is?" Jimin asked.

"It's close to the pond with the huge catfish, right?" Jimin nodded. "I think I remember it from the Christmas party you got tricked into hosting freshman year?" Sorah chuckled, tapping her chin.

"Let's not talk about that," Jimin huffed. "It was a disaster."

"It was a very entertaining disaster." Taehyung waggled his eyebrows. "I thoroughly enjoyed watching Nayeon give you the Heimlich maneuver for the Doritos you stress-ate too fast."

"Shut up!" Jimin administered a good thwack to the back of Taehyung's head. "I still don't know why it wasn't you giving me the Heimlich when you were sitting next to me the entire time!"

"I'm sorry, I don't think I would've been very useful giving you the Heimlich when I was shaking with laughter!"

   "I could've died!"

"Pipe down," Sorah chuckled. "Jimin, if you have a pen and paper handy you can give me your address and number, and Taehyung's while you're at it."

"Right." Jimin tore through his disorganized backpack, fishing through the pockets to find the required items, then scribbling down the information and passing it off to Sorah, who put it into her phone.

"When do you want me over?" The girl slid her phone into her pocket as she waited for an answer.

"As soon as you can. No rush," Taehyung answered.

"Sure. I'm a few neighborhoods away, so it'll take me a couple minutes to skate over after I get home."

"Jimin and I usually do homework together so you can bring yours, too, if you want."

Sorah gave a brief nod. "See ya, then."

"That's the last time I let you touch my Sour Patch Kids unsupervised!" Jimin shrieked, tackling Taehyung, with cheeks full of sour, sugar-coated gummies, to the floor of his bedroom. The younger boy could only give grunts muffled by sticky candy as a response. The two thrashed about on the floor, each of them switching positions a few times before Taehyung pressed his knees to his chest and used his leverage to push Jimin off of him, flipping him onto his back and sitting on his stomach, pinning his wrists to the floor. He celebrated his victory with a goofy smirk and a harsh swallow of the last of the candy.

It was at that moment that door slowly opened and outside it stood Sorah, eyebrows furrowed and giving the pair a questioning stare. "Am I interrupting something? I did knock, but there was no answer."

"Oh-" Taehyung's ears turned a strawberry red as he realized the position they were in- that Sorah had walked in on. He released Jimin's wrists and was immediately overpowered by 5'7 of absolute fury, ready to avenge his eaten gummies.

Sorah took a seat on the carpet a safe distance away and folded her hands over her stomach, enjoying the display of Taehyung and Jimin wrestling each other into the ground and bickering over already eaten candy.
