ACTION TIME :O

---

It was late afternoon when Sorah had knocked on Jimin's door. The two had long since picked their outfits and had taken the rest of the afternoon to mess around, playing pool in Jimin's basement; though, they had to stop when Jimin accidentally hit himself in the balls with his cue stick.

After being let in, she politely greeted Jimin's parents. Then, the three were presented with the problem of how to actually spend their free time. "We've got..." Taehyung checked his phone. "A couple hours to kill."

"Sorah." Jimin started, abruptly and determinedly. "Can you teach me how to skate?"

"Yeah, sure. You got a helmet?" The boy shook his head. "Then I'll spot you until you're ready to go fast enough that I can't keep up."

    "Sounds good."

"Do me a favor and don't split your head open, okay? Your mom looks like she'd skin me alive if I let you get hurt."

Taehyung grinned and nodded, as if he knew something about that. "She would."

"Yeah, I'll be careful," Jimin stated.

"Okay. Let's go." Sorah led the three to the driveway once Jimin had his sneakers on. Taehyung put his on, too, just in case Sorah would teach him as well. The girl grabbed her longboard, dropped it onto its wheels, and stopped it with her foot. She motioned for Jimin to come. "Hop on"

Jimin did as instructed, placing his left foot on the middle of the board, and leaving his right on the ground next to it. "Move your foot up a little higher," She instructed. "Now, bend your knees a little." She put a hand on his shoulder to feel the tension in his body. "And relax your body. You'll lose balance if you don't." Once Jimin was successfully following all her instructions, she removed her hand and placed it on the small of his back to give him a sudden push to get him started.

He squawked , as he was unprepared for being propelled forward, but regained his composure and, like it was natural for him, started to push off the ground and get a steady pace, with Sorah jogging alongside him. He grinned at her as she gave him a thumbs-up. As soon as she stopped spotting him, however, one of the wheels stalled as it got stuck on a pebble, and he tipped backward, losing his balance.

Sorah darted forward to catch Jimin, who fell into her chest with a yelp as Taehyung laughed heartily, not minding the way his friend's cheeks turned miserably pink. "Watch out for rocks," Sorah muttered, grimacing, removing the boy from her front and standing him back up.

She let him give it another try, and he rode smoothly, largely without mistakes or slip-ups for several minutes. "Alright, let's let Taehyung have a try so he stops giving me those pouty eyes," Sorah chuckled, making Taehyung grin.

Taehyung required a bit more instruction than Jimin and took it a little slower, but at least he didn't find himself colliding with Sorah at any point while he rode. An out of breath Taehyung eventually hopped off the board and shoved it toward Sorah with his foot. "Why don't you show us how it's done?"

"'kay." The girl mounted the board, blasé as she pushed off, hands casually finding their homes in her pockets. She skated easily, effortlessly, going at a comfortable pace, and Taehyung realized she'd never looked so cool. With that being one of her main personality traits, she looked very cool. She was in her element; no doubt about it. The shorts that rode up to her upper thigh when he bent her knee to gather power to propel the board forward revealed toned muscles, a tell-tale sign that she'd done this regularly.
