(When Keiji and y/n was seven years old, at a playground)

y/n's POV:

There was a group of children playing hide and seek around the playground, six of them precisely. This time, it's y/n's turn to be the 'it', the one who locates her hiding friends. She counted until ten, then shouted, "Ready or not, here I come!"

While searching for her friends, there's something that caught her attention. No, it's not something, it's someone, a boy to be specific, who's reading a book under a cherry blossom tree without any care of his surrounding. His black hair seems fluffy and waves along the wind, his eyes... 'wow' is what y/n thought.. what color was it? Green? Blue? Grey? All y/n could say that it's her new favorite color.. so, being curious she is, she decided to take a detour and go to that cute boy.

"Hey!!! What are you reading??" It was the first thing y/n said the moment she reached the boy. Her loud voice startled the boy making he closed the book immediately to look at the person who disturbed his reading. He took a moment to study her face, her h/l h/s hair and her mesmerizing e/c, 'wow' was also what the boy thought the first time he sees her.

"Um.. it's a book about flowers" the boy's soft voice pierced into y/n's ears, making her shouted "You have a beautiful voice!!". And again, the boy flinched by her loud voice. "I'm sorry I didn't meant to scare you" she apologized immediately after seeing his startled face. "It's okay" was the only response from the boy. Then, a silence looms over them. Breaking the silence, y/n decided to introduce herself "I'm y/n!! What's your name??" "Akaashi" "Hmm?? Akaashi?? Is that your first name?? y/n is my first name, you should give me your first name too, we should be friends!! Say, do you want to play with us?" The boy who named 'Akaashi' was bombarded with so many questions from the girl making him feel overwhelmed on which one he should answer first. Just before he opens his mouth to give her answer, a woman's voice was heard "Keiji!! Let's go home already... you have a study session tonight" hearing his mom's call, the boy who y/n just realized named Akaashi Keiji immediately runs leaving y/n alone.

The girl was left with unanswered questions, "y/n!! Where were you?? Aren't you supposed to be the one who searches for us??" Koutarou, y/n's cousin called her. Feeling that she took a long time, Koutarou and her other friends decided to search for her. They continued their game as usual, except that y/n's thought filled with the boy she just met.
